"Go ahead Ms.Scarlett." The doctor nods towards Parker while ready to take notes.
"Hey Parker, My name is Scarlett Hale." I say while Parker nods
"Nice to meet you." He says while sticking his hand out for me to shake.
I place my hand in his but it feels strange.
"Now Ms.Scarlett tell him who you are to him." The doctor interrupts so I let go of Parker's hand.
"I am well... Uhm was since you don't remember I was your girlfriend." I say struggling to say while a tear slipped down my cheek.
"How come I don't remember? I want to remember. I really do but it's difficult. When I was asleep, I kept having these blurry memories but they weren't clear enough for me to describe at this moment." He says and reaches out to grab my hand. I let him grab my hand and he looks up to me and gives me a small smile.
"Okay well how bout we try again tomorrow after Parker sleeps and we can see what happens from there. Meanwhile Ms.Scarlett you can stay but try not tell him to much, we are going to take this slow." The doctor suggests while writing something down on his clipboard and leaving the room.
"I wish I could just remember everything!" Parker says while placing both his hands on his face. He let go of my hand in the process so I take this is as my chance to pull up a chair and sit next to him.
"I thought you weren't going to wake up... The doctor said you only had a 45% chance of living." I tell him.
"Don't be sad I'm here now." Parker tells me and grabs my hand again.
"Can you tell me what was I like before the accident." Parker asks me.
"Sure. You always had a smile on your face. Always laughing or making others laugh. You'd like to go out in public just to embarrass yourself because you love being laughter to others." I say smiling remembering. I feel a couple of tears slip down my cheek. I lift my hands to wipe them away but Parker stops me, he put his thumbs on my cheeks and wipes them off.
"Thank you." I whisper.
"I bet I had a great life with you, You're beautiful and I feel lucky knowing you are my girlfriend. From the time I've been awake it seemed like I had many adventures with you. Laughing, crying, telling jokes to each other but sadly I can remember." Parker tells me while looking into my eyes.
