"Again? Fucking Kim Namjoon!" Jungkook whisper yelled as he smashed his examination result on the desk,

"Calm down Jungkookie he's just one mark ahead of you, it's not a big deal." The reavenett said looking at the fumming blonde.

"You don't understand Taehyungie it is always one mark." Jungkook groaned as he fell back on his seat,

"It's not a big deal Kook, as big you are making it and your parents never complain about you being no 2." Taehyung casually replied and the younger looked at him glaring,

"They don't care but I do, I'm sick of being no 2." Jungkook grumbled making the older chuckle,

"Kook calm down I'm on 27th position but did you see me sweating about it? No right, cause it's not a big deal." Taehyung tried to assure the younger who was glaring at a certain male few seats away from them,

"But let's be honest Jungkook, don't you think Namjoon is perfect?" Taehyung asked admiring the other,

The boy was always been a bit fond of the topper who never seemed to waver in any situation, always first in everything,

"Nobody's perfect." The brunnet mumbled under his breath.

Jungkook hates Namjoon, for Jungkook Namjoon is a golden boy who is born with a silver spoon in his mouth, already being gifted with an IQ of 148 already help him academic and his façade of being the innocent sweet little boy, come on how no one can see that,

Jungkook was determined to prove everyone that Namjoon isn't everyone's perfect little sunshine and he's gonna do it at any cost.

Namjoon fell down with a loud thud winching in pain, "what did you said? Can you repeat it again i think i didn't hear you."

"Sir I-I'm sorry it won't happen again."

"I hope so too, i don't want a disgrace in the family, don't make me hit you again Joon." Mr. Kim exclaimed before leaving the room closing the door with a loud bang making the young boy flinch.

Hoseok was outside of the house hearing the younger male's painful screams, a tear fell from corner of his eyes.

Finally everything went silent like dead of night and the thud of door echoed throughout the window indicating that the monster have left.

Hoseok didn't wasted a single second before opening the window getting in the room, the scene infront of him make him wanna puke,

Namjoon was on ground looking almost dead, his shirt on his back was teared in vertically and horizontally lines, clearly because getting hit with a whip mercilessly.

The older ran towards the injured boy picking him up gently, taking him out of the room to his house,

The boy was too light according to his height, Hoseok took him inside his room removing his shirt, biting his lips trying to muffle his sobs as he gently wiped younger's wounds waching him winching in pain.

Eyes closed, Namjoon was already passed out when Hoseok went inside the room.

After cleaning the wounds, he patched it up, changed him in a soft oversized t-shirt which Hoseok already had because this happens quite regularly.

After changing his clothes, he laid the younger down on his bed.

The older was looking at the male who was sleeping peacefully like nothing happened and Hoseok could only wished it could be like that but no,

Namjoon's father always hit him and always avoid the face because a topper should have presentable face.

Hoseok witness it every time it happens, he is Namjoon's bestfriend and neighbour afterall.

The younger always try to assure him every morning that he is fine the pain isn't that bad like Hoseok has just born yesterday,

The days his father isn't hitting him he would still be passed out by excessive study and overwork.

Everything is slowly destroying him and even he can't see that,

How can Hoseok stop worrying about the innocent male sleeping infront of him.

"Take care of yourself Joonie, i won't be always here to do that for you." Hoseok said before plopping himself next to the sleeping boy embracing him in a protective hug before drifting into sleep.

Jungkook was right, no one's perfect.
