Ch 7

"What the hell is going on here?!" I jerk away in shock and look at Kira wide eyed immediately giving a sheepish look. "Um hey Kira. What brings you home early?" She gives me a slight look. "I took off because I was worried about you. But it seems you're fine enough to have company." I blush bright red and rub the back of my neck. "Um he kinda surprised me and I thought we could hang out so we were watching a movie." She raises an eyebrow at me before giving a stern look. "Tell him to go and then I want you up in your room within ten minutes." I frown before looking at Riki apologetically. "Um I'll talk to you later. You should go." He frowns but nods and teleports away I sighing and get up heading to my room silently. Once I enter my room I start pacing anxiously running a hand through my hair. After a few minutes I hear my door open and I look up seeing a very unhappy looking Kira. "What were you even thinking having someone over? And a vampire out of all creatures!" I frown a little at her tone. "I'm sorry I had someone over without permission but Riki's a good guy and why do you care if he's a vampire or not? We're shapeshifters it shouldn't matter if I'm friends with other supernatural creatures." She gives me a dark look. "We may be supernatural creatures but we're more human than other supernatural beings. And I don't want you being with a vampire." My frown deepens. "That's not right! I really like him and he doesn't care about my true appearance or anything. And he's been really nice and supportive." She scoffs rolling her eyes. "He's probably just trying to get you into bed Toru. And he probably would have if I didn't show up." I glare at her. "I'm not that easy and even if I did decide to sleep with him it's my choice." She gives me a stern look. "Toru you're only sixteen you should wait for your mate." I pause and give her a confused look. "My what?" She sighs and motions for me to take a seat I cautiously sitting on the end of the bed. "Your mate. The person you're meant to be with and spend your life with. I want you to wait to do anything until you find that special person you're meant for." I frown thinking and look up at her seriously. "Riki's my mate." She freezes and gives me a cold look. "No way is a vampire your mate. Not only is that crazy but it's disgusting." I scowl at her angrily. "You're disgusting for acting this way!" She gives me a warning look. "Don't take that tone with me. I think we need to head back to Japan you're acting out and I think you'll settle down more if we go back home." I immediately feel my heart stop and I panic. "No! I'm not leaving! I don't wanna go home!" She gives me a look. "We're moving and that's final. And you're spending your last week being homeschooled I don't want you around that vampire. Now I'll bring your dinner when it's finished but you're staying in your room." I look at her in horror as she storms out of my room slamming my door shut and locks it since it locks from the outside. I whimper and plop back onto my bed staring up at the ceiling miserably the only thing on my mind is how much I miss Riki.
