Summary:

Ghostface calls someone, Gina, Gale, and Sidney explore the Bailey house, Ethan and Chad have a confusing reunite, and Mindy gets a text.

Notes:

I'm blown away by the love for Gina! I'm glad you guys like the sarcastic soft goth girl that she is!

Also, I'm going to say it: if Richie wasn't Ghostface he would have been an amazing character-- no scratch that, if he wasn't dating a minor while in his mid-20s then he would be a good character.

chapter contains a small amount slut shaming and vile language (Ghostface is something else rn).

The phone rings.

She closes the door to the antique cabinet and pulls the key from the lock, securing the cabinet locked. She was in no rush to answer the phone as she placed the key on top of the cabinet. She dusts her hands off against each other and walks over to the kitchen where the phone continued to ring.

She picks up the landline and brings it up to the side of her face, "Hello, who is this?" She asked, looking down at the caller ID but it just reads unknown number.

"Hi, sorry," their voice sounded slightly off like it was going through a filter, or they were sick. They sounded awkward. "Am I calling the right number?"

"Can't say you are, I don't recognize your number or voice," She pursed her lips and leaned forward onto the counter. Her eyes drift towards the wooden knife block.

"But I recognize yours." Odd. The caller was odd, but no alarm bells were ringing in her head.

"Do you?" She questioned, walking over to one of the many cabinets in the kitchen, pulling it open, and peering inside absentmindedly.

"Yes, of course, I do. Anyone who doesn't know who you are lives under a rock."

Her hand tightens on the cabinet handle, "You don't know what you're talking about. I've never done anything–"

"You're not exactly a saint, Christina Carpenter." Christina's eyes widened as his voice had audibly dropped, twisting into a dark lull with a sickening undertone.

"What the hell do you want?" She keeps her voice even, trying to appear unaffected by the words, but if she knew any better she would know that they could see her.

"What do you think I want?"

"I'm not connected to Sam and Tara anymore."

"Such a shame. Your daughters really are something else. They're smart." Ghostface had a taunting voice, "They're cunning. They're pretty too, they get it from you, and their fathers. Clearly, they're much more like their daddies. You'd see that as a bad thing, but really, you're the one who slept with a serial killer in high school."

"I didn't know he was–!" Christina raised her voice.

"You had a boyfriend, and he was dating Sidney." They tsk'd, "Do you really need to be reminded of how much of a failure you are?" Christina had grabbed a knife from the wooden block at this point, keeping her back pressed against the kitchen counter as her eyes scanned her surroundings. "Should I keep going?" They cackled on the other side, "Should I have to remind you how much of an alcoholic whore you are?"

"Shut up," Christina almost wants to bring up how she was doing better, but it was not like it would do her any good right now.

"You know, the kills as of right now–I know you're watching the tv, I know you feel no remorse for the daughters you abandoned–are only of people who deserved it" Ghostface hissed into the line, "Do you want to know why I think you deserve it?
