Once arriving to the island, Nicholas had gotten off of the boat and paid the boatman money for the stay there and soon of course shook hands and Nicholas walked off.

Soon he stepped off of the boat and breathed in the island air, it smelled sour and damp, the salty sea water had only added to the smell in a way that couldn't be described heremebered the interviews with the people before making it to the island as he review the footage on the camcorder.

Nicholas: "So is there anything you wanna tell me about your experience at Treasure Island?"

Terrence: "What happened there wasn't normal boy."

Nicholas: "What do you mean?"

Terrence: "That island isn't normal."

Terrence: "That island is cursed to all shit, if I were you I wouldn't go there."

Nicholas: "You wanna explain what happened there while you worked there?"

Terrence: "I used to be one of the maintenance workers I went in to clean up whatever messes the guests and visitors there, I never noticed anything strange about the location on my first day."

Nicholas: "So what happened?"

Terrence: "I can't recall everything, but what I do remember is that everything that happened on the first day I worked there was strange."

Terrence sat there for hours describing his experience while working at Treasure Island.

Terrence: "I remember being there like I said after the park had opened and had finished up development, I had gotten the call from my boss that a child had threw up near one of the rides and such and so I went over there with power washer machine and some suds soap so I went over to the spot where the reported vomiting happened."

Terrence had laughed. "Hehehe."

Terrence: "I guess that kid had second thoughts about eating that entire turkey leg before getting on the teacups."

Nicholas: "What happened next?"

Terrence: "Well, I remember hosing down the massive vomit stain on the asphalt near the teacup ride and had remembered seeing something out of the sight something weird, it was quite bizarre actually I looked up and had seen a mascot just standing there watching me do my job."

Nicholas: "A mascot?"

Terrence: "Indeed it was."

Nicholas: "What did it look like?"

Terrence: "It was a old Mickey Mouse costume."

Nicholas: "What was strange about it?"

Terrence leaned in close to looked around to make sure nobody was listening.

Terrence: "The costume itself didn't look normal son, it didn't look right."

Nicholas: "What do you mean by that?"

Terrence: "The costume didn't look like it had the normal color pallet of a Mickey Mouse mascot costume, it looked inverted like the colors that were supposed to be there weren't there I stand were replaced with colors that you wouldn't see on the Mickey character itself."

Nicholas: "Inverted?"

Nicholas: "Inverted?"

Terrence: "The usual color pallet for the suit was replaced with new ones."

Terrence: "It looked like something out of a photo negative image."

Nicholas: "Explain?"

Terrence: "The black fur, eyebrows, and nose was white, the creme pale skin color were a dark blue, it had a white tuxedo jacket on, the under shirt and gloves were grey, the pants that are usually red were a pale blue, and the shoes that supposed to be black as well were a white color as well, the white eyes with the black pupils were inverted as well to be black eyes with white pupils."

Nicholas: "What did it do?"

Terrence: "It just stood there staring at me, with it's head tilted to the side with that frozen smile on it's face."

Nicholas: "And then what?"

Terrence: "It lifted up it's one arm and just pointed at me and laughed in a low pitched laugh, it felt like staring at the thing had put me in a trance."

Terrence: "I didn't break out of it until a parent with their child had bumped into me and I looked away for a moment and then looked back at where the mascot was it wasn't there anymore."

Nicholas: "Wasn't there anymore?"

Terrence: "Gone, it vanished from sight like it was never there, it was like it didn't exist, all that stood there was a empty space with a few children taking pictures with mascots."

Nicholas: "Anything else you noticed about the mascot?"

Terrence: "Hm."

Terrence had paused for a moment.

Terrence: "Well I did notice one thing, it seemed to be leaking some kind of liquid."

Nicholas: "A liquid?"

Terrence: "Yes."

Nicholas: "What was it?"

Terrence: "It was a strange yellow liquid that smelt of sulfure and rotten cheese, it stank like a faint smell of rot and decay, the liquid was thick like it was blood, but I don't ever recall blood being yellow and thick like syrup."

Nicholas had checked his watch and just looked at the time.

It was 4:59, and looked back at Terrence and sat there in silence.

Nicholas: "Alright, uh well it was nice talking to you Terrence I'll be on my way."

Terrence: "It was nice talking to you too Mr. Carlson."

Nicholas had gotten up and shut the camera off and walked off looking back at the old man that was Terrence Milkovich sitting there drinking a beer and walked out the door.

_______________

Nicholas stood there at the board walk with the camera in his hand with his camcorder and walked off toward the island and coming across a timezone gap.

He stood there at the shoreline of the island and pulled out the phone in his pocket it was 12:00a.m.

This seemed weird but that would only get stranger than fiction, this......this wasn't fiction, this was reality, a reality where the world was thought to be simple by the human brain capacity and thought process of any competent human.

A reality that Nicholas had thought was simple and easy to explain that would soon turn out to be the opposite of that, and soon realize that the world itself and it's people and it's locations where filled with dark and twisted history that was only for the mentally disturbed and criminally insane to fully understand and fully grasp with the metaphorical hand of what is the definition of concept.
