As Kana tried to strike up a conversation with Aqua, they walked through a quiet neighborhood, with (y/n) trailing behind them, her yawns betraying her lack of interest in the conversation. Suddenly, her curiosity got the better of her, and she couldn't resist asking a few questions.
"Hey, Aqua, where are you going?" (y/n) yawned, her voice laced with a hint of annoyance.
Aqua, seemingly unaffected by her presence, ignored her and continued walking, prompting (y/n) to raise an eyebrow. She reminded herself that they had been pestering him with questions earlier, so she shouldn't take it personally. Besides, she already knew the answers.
'He's going to the director's house, right? Taisho Gotanda. This is the Hanakawa Village.'
Keeping her thoughts to herself, (y/n) decided to amuse herself by mentally answering her own questions, as if she were playing a game.
' The director's house is House Number 23, Sakura Avenue. As for Aqua, he lives in Haru Village, House Number 5 on Matsuoka Avenue, in the Hanabira Residences, Number 101.'
With a smirk playing on her lips, (y/n) found solace in her own knowledge, silently amused by the situation. Sometimes, it was more entertaining to play along in her own head rather than engaging with those who seemed disinterested. She knows everything.
As they continued walking, Kana's persistent attempts to engage Aqua in conversation persisted, while (y/n) resigned herself to being the silent observer, ready to interject with her witty remarks when the moment called for it. After all, even in the midst of mundane conversations, she could find her own entertainment and keep herself from succumbing to boredom.
Aqua finally turned to face Kana and (y/n), his gaze shifting between their contrasting expressions. Kana wore a determined and persistent look, while (y/n) seemed oddly carefree, as if she held all the answers. Aqua couldn't help but notice her lime green eyes, and his unintentional stare earned him a mischievous wink from her.
Caught off guard, Aqua regained his composure and directed his question towards them. "How long are you two planning to follow me?"
Kana, undeterred by his apparent disinterest, responded eagerly. "As long as it takes to get to know you better, you need to answer my questions!"
