-Cody's POV-

The bell rang throughout the whole school and it was the signal of the most beautiful time. 

Home time. 

I lean against the wall and wait for Josh to get out of his class. 

"Waiting for your boyfriend?" Hayley asked.

"No, my husband" I laughed.

"I am so sorry, I didn't think you two were that close"

We laughed. 

"I can walk to your locker with you"

"You can? What about your husband?"

"I can trust him, he's loyal"

I pushed off the wall and walked alongside her. 

I watched as her hair bounced with every step. With every word she said, her lips pressed together beautifully. I admired her dimples with every smile, smirk and giggle.

She was stunning.

"Heyo, my lockers here" she smiled.

I nodded and leaned against the locker next to hers.

She continued talking and I continued admiring. Her eyes sparkled indicating whatever she was talking about excited. A smile continuously on her face. I felt as though I was watching her in slow motion. 

She lightly tapped my cheek and pointed behind me.

"Hey man" Josh nodded.

I nodded back.

"Well, cute marriage. I gotta go, I'll see you in class tomorrow Cody" Hayley smiled.

I watched as she walked off.

"Good view?" Josh asked.

I smirked and walked the other way.

"It's obvious you're into her, you haven't said a word."

"Doesn't mean I'm into her, I was listening to her story."

"You're into her, hard"

I rolled my eyes and walked faster to my car.

"Either you shut up, or walk home"

"I'll walk, mainly because I don't wanna shut up about it"

"See you later then dude"

I started the car and drove off.

I laid in bed, just going through my feed.

A photo of Hayley showed up in my feed.

She was at a Liyah's place.

Her hair was up in a messy ponytail, no makeup was present on her face. 

She was just as beautiful as she was when I saw her earlier. 

"I've turned into a huge creep" I whispered to myself. 

I decided to call Josh and see if he wanted to go out. 

An excuse to see Hayley.

"Hey dude, whats up?" he answered.

"You busy?" I asked.

"No, why?"

"I'll come pick you up, I want to go out"

"Alright, see you soon."

The call ended, I grabbed my keys and jacket and left to my car. 

I pulled out my phone and called Hayley.

"Hello?" she answered, her voice sweet.

"Hey, you ladies want to come out with us? We're going to get food" 

"Can't say no to food, see you soon."

I smiled.

"Okay, see you real soon, bye" 

I ended the call.

We walked around the mall a little. Hayley and Josh were dancing to some song on the speakers.

"How much do you like her?" Liyah asked.

"Me?" 

"No shit, how much do you like her?"

I shrugged.

"I don't"

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

"Sure, and pigs can fly"

"Okay, maybe a little, she's not like other girls, she's fun"

Liyah smiled.

"Well, just don't hurt her, she means a lot to me."

I nodded.

Liyah walked up to Hayley and pushed her toward me.

"Hey loser, what you doing?" Hayley laughed.

"Not dancing around the mall like a weirdo, that's what" 

"Hey, I'm a cute weirdo"

"You sure are."

She blushed and stopped dancing. 

We walked in sync and stayed silent. 

A nice kind of silent.
