Chapter Five

The first set ended and the score was 25-20. We won the first set. Sharyn sat down and Marlyn substituted her place. We started the game and it was our ball. I had to serve the ball to the other side. I made a big hit and the our opponent didn't catch the ball we lead by one. I saw Shine at the side with Mark and Jj which would be the shortcut for Johnjohn since it's so long. I smiled and waved at them then I continued with the game. I spiked as hard as I could and the ball falls and they were pretty mad at us. They were actually Seventh Grade students from Hearst College. Here in Girls & Boys High Academy we are trained to olay right unlike the Hearst. They were hitting it wrongly. They are obviously not trained. We lead 22-15 because they didn't know how to catch the ball. Now we won the second set. The third set was obviously easy because they weren't cooperating and their coach was yelling at them. The last score was 25-19. We shaked hands and so as the coaches. Coach Luis was so happy for us. He gave us free ice cream from the school stall. I got a chocolate one to refresh my body. After the game I went to the gymnasium and checked who was playing. There were Eight Grade students from our school and Star Hills High playing basketball. There were so many people here in our school. Three schools joined together for our intramurals. Our school was leading the games. While I was looking at the results I bumped into someone and fell. He gave me a hand so I could get up. I guess this a student from Hearst College. He introduced himself "Oh sorry. I'm Boni Frank Orgello and I'm from Hearst College." I was shy to answer. "Hi I'm Shane Sepedan and I'm from Girls & Boys High Academy like right here in this school. I am in Seventh Grade. How bout' you?" He fixed his hair before answering. "I'm in Seventh Grade too. Nice to meet you." Then I repeated his last line. "Nice to meet you too. Ok bye I need to go now the next volleyball game is ours." Then I walked away to the court to get ready to play. Our opponent was Seventh Grade boys from Star Hills High. We were warming up for the game.I changed to my varsity t-shirt and shorts and stretched a little bit. Our varsity uniform was color Pink for the shirt and Black for the shirt. Our previous coach designed our uniform. We also have our green jerseys for the Seventh Grade. I used to be the team captain for our team but our new coach made it Sharyn. The coach signalled to start the game.
