Next week 6am @ the cemetery

Angelina got out of her car and walked to her mother's gravestone. She sat on the ground before it and took out her spray and scrubber and cleaned it as she began to talk, "Hi mom... I got you some new flowers, the old ones need to go. I hope you're okay... There's this girl that I hired as my new assistant last month called Beyoncé. She has a little girl called Blue, she's so adorable... But I feel like I've been a terrible person to Beyoncé, I've apologised and she forgave me, but i still feel guilty. I like her... Like... I want to get to know her more as a person and see if somethings there because i feel like there is... I'm just scared. please help me to see if I should pursue her or not..." Angelina said as she placed the new bouquet of flowers on her grave before continuing her update on her previous week...

Angelina made her way up to her floor and walked down the hall to see the usual sight of Beyoncé preparing her desk with scripts and a coffee. "Good morning" Angelina said with a smile as she walked through gaining Beyoncé's attention. "Good morning, there's your scripts and coffee." "Thank you... How's Blue?" Angelina asked which was a usual question for her to ask Beyoncé every time they came to work. "She's good, just really excited for her birthday." Beyoncé responded with a smile making Angelina smile back, "Have you got anything planned for her birthday?" "I'm decorating the apartment Disney princess themed. And I'm having a makeup artist come over and then I was just going to take her out to eat later on" Beyoncé shrugged. "That sounds nice. I want to get her a gift, do you know what she'd like?" Angelina asked. "Oh she'd appreciate anything you give her, really don't worry about it" Beyoncé replied knowing that blue would truly love anything Angelina gave her. "I'll ask her later, I don't want to disappoint" Angelina said making Beyoncé smile at her sweetly grateful Angelina was so happy to get involved with Blue, to the point where she expected to see her at the office after school almost every day, something Beyoncé could have never expected when she first started the job.

It was now lunch and Angelina had a reservation already booked at her favourite restaurant, so she was getting her stuff ready to go. When she walked out of her office, she saw Beyoncé sat at her desk still typing away, "Hey, it's lunch". Beyoncé held up a small salad bowl with a smile before replying, "I'm multi-tasking" making Angelina laugh a little. She then thought to invite Beyoncé out for lunch, knowing a salad barely fills her up. She took a deep breath before speaking again, "I'm going for lunch at this portuguese restaurant... They have really good food um... I was wondering if you'd like to join me." Beyoncé stopped for a moment before replying, "uh, yeah sure. I'll just get my purse." "No need it's on me, let's go the car is waiting." Angelina replied not giving Beyoncé a chance to argue, so she got up and they went down to the car.

* @ the restaurant

"Ah Miss Jolie, wonderful to see you again. I have your reservation, table for 1-" "It's actually 2 today" Angelina said with a small smile stepped aside to make sure the host could see Beyoncé. "no problem at all, allow me to escort you ladies to your table." As they followed the host to their table, Beyoncé looked around at the very expensive looking restaurant feeling a bit out of place as the people looked at her from their tables. "Is this okay for you?" She heard Angelina ask her, making her come back to reality and notice the huge view they had over the city, "Yes, thank you."

Beyoncé and Angelina sat eating their food, but Beyoncé wondered why Angelina asked her to lunch. She knew she was so soft around Blue and loved to see it, but in terms of their personal connection she didn't know where they stood with each other. "What are you thinking?" She heard bringing her out of her thoughts to see Angelina looking at her. "Nothing" Angelina raised her brows with a small knowingly smile, "You're thinking of nothing?" Angelina watched as Beyoncé sighed a little looking around nervously before giving her eye contact, "Don't you find it a bit... uncommon... To have lunch with your assistant?" Beyoncé said quietly. Angelina sat and thought as she chewed and swallowed her food before answering, "Well, I suppose... But that's why I asked you to come, so we can get to know each other." Angelina replied nonchalantly as she continued to eat her food. Beyoncé looked at her as she talked like it wasn't a huge deal. She nodded and returned to eating her food. After some silence Angelina spoke up again, "Does it make you uncomfortable to be here with me?" Beyoncé looked back up at Angelina who looked down as soon as their eyes met. "No... No, I enjoy your company." Beyoncé admitted shyly making Angelina meet her eyes again but this time with a smile making Beyoncé do the same. "I enjoy yours too" Angelina replied and Beyoncé felt warm inside, but it wasn't in the same way of hearing it from someone like Kelly. This time felt different, but she didn't think it could ever be mutual.
