Twilight Laurent

Kating-kati na akong umalis sa kinauupuan ko, jusmeyo naman bakit ang tagal ng dismissal yung pusa ko hindi pa kumakain! From time to time I'm taking a glance at my watch.

"Ya' okay, Twilight?"

Lumingon naman ako sa katabi ko, it was Carter, my seatmate.

Tinanguan ko nalang siya't nginitian.

Hindi ako okay! My cat might be hungry righ now!

I heaved a sigh, nakalimutan kong bumili ng cat food. Dadaanan ko nalang mamaya.
Tumingin ulit ako sa relo ko, 'nak ng! Lampas five minutes na yung dismissal!

Nilingon ko ulit si Carter nang marinig ko itong humagikgik. Bigla itong nag alsa ng kamay, "Sir, time na."

Oh, Carter, you're a blessing from heaven!

Lumingon ulit siya sa'kin kaya binigyan ko naman siya ng nagpapasalamat ng tingin, geez, utang ko sa kanya 'to?

"I see, alright class. You're dismissed."

Hurriedly, I grabbed my bag at nauna nang lumabas. I left my condominium early in the morning locked and what I left for Lython is a good for breakfast food. Gosh! Sana dinamihan ko nalang!

Para sa isang cat pet owner masyado akong bobo!

Balisa akong tumatakbo sa hallway nang hindi ko sinasadyang may nakabangga ako, "Ah! S-Sorry, hindi ko sina-"

"Senior Light?"

My gazed shifted at her the moment I heard her voice. Napataas naman ang kilay ko ng makitang hindi ang pala siya nag-iisa.

"Rossi..." pinasadahan ko siya ng tingin bago nilingon ang kasama niya, "Sebastian."

Rossi's lips formed a big smile, agad niyang inangkla ang braso ni Sebastian.

"Light-"

"Seriously, Sebastian?" I cutted him off. "You're with her all the time, that's why you didn't responded my texts."

Lumukot naman ang mukha niya sa sinabi ko, huh, I hit the spot, didn't I?

"I'm sorry, I was just busy tutoring her." He said and everted his gaze, hindi niya ako matitigan sa mata.

"And what about that?" Tinuro ko naman ang braso niyang inaangkla ngayon ni Rossi, "Is that a part of tutoring her?"

Rossi just rolled her eyes at me, "Senior, sorry to say this but, Senior Seb and I are having a good time togeth-"

"Shut it, Rossi!"

Natikom naman ni Rossi ang kanyang bibig pero hindi naman nito natago ang pagrolyo ng kanyang mata, this bitch...

"Sebastian, bitawan mo siya." I gripped my fist tightly, agad namang kumawala sa pagkahawak ni Rossi si Sebastian.

"Light, I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you, okay?" He said and held my both hands.

Inaamin ko na masyado akong narurupok pagdating kay Sebastian.

"Really-"

"Sebastian!" Napalingon naman kaming dalawa nang sumigaw si Rossi, her eyes are flaring with anger, "Won't you gonna tell her?"

My brows furrowed, tell me what?

"Please, Rossi not now-"

"Fine! I'll do it myself!" Lumapit siya sa kinaroroonan namin at hinila ako papalayo kay Sebastian.

"Stop it! Masakit yung pagkakahawak-" I didn't finished what I was about to say when she uttered those unexpected words.

"Nagsisiping kami everytime we're together!"

The corridor was filled with gasp the moment my palm landed on Rossi's pretty cheeks.

"That's for being a whore, bitch!"

I said not minding the crowd can hear.

"Light, that was too much!"

I scoffed, too much? Kulang pa iyon sa kababuyan na ginawa nila! I walk near him and didn't think twice to slap him too.

"Too much?! Kulang pa iyan Sebastian! Sabihin mong hindi totoo ang pinagsasabi niya!"

He bowed down his head, his silence was enough to make me burst into tears. He keeps mumbling 'I'm sorry' but I can't take it anymore.

Patakbo akong umalis sa kinaroroonan ko, this is too much to handle. He's the only one I have, the remaining family I have.
Pakla akong napatawa nang maalala ko kung pa'no kami nagsimula.

"Classmate Light, c-can I talk to you?"

I chuckled when I heard President Seb's stuttering voice. He was scratching the back of his head and his round eyeglass can't hide the shyness in his eyes.

"We're already talking, Pres."

"No, I mean I wanted to say something." Kumunot ang noo ko, that's odd. He's always straight forward when he wants to say something.

"Sure, what is it?"

"I...I think I like you."

Pinahid ko ang mga luhang tumatakas sa mata ko, hindi ko lubos maisip kung bakit nagawa niya sa'kin 'to. I just ran until I reached the school gate.

Lython

"What's taking that woman so long? I am hungry!" Stomping my feet I walk to the kitchen, binuksan ko ang refrigerator niya only to see some raw foods.

"Fuck it, I can't cook!"

I pursed my lips and shapeshifted into my cat form. It's four in the afternoon and I didn't have my lunch! I groaned.

"Witch! How can she take me as a pet when she always forget about me?!"

I walk close to the window and took a peek. I almost scratched the curtain when I saw how high the building is when I was about to jump.

"This is hell!"

When I heard a clicking sound I immediately ran towards the door. It must be her!

When the door opened my brows furrowed. I remembered that's not the clothes she's wearing when she left.

Madami siyang bitbit na shopping bags, yung mga mata niya'y namumugto't namumula.

Did she cried again?

"Meow."

"Hello, Lython."

My body suddenly acted up on it's own again. In a second I felt my body brushing on her white feet.

"Purrrr..."

"Oh, Lython!"

Agad niya akong binuhat at umupo sa couch. Her shopping bags was dropped on the floor. She hugged me tightly.

Fuck this woman, I can't breathe!

"He cheated, Lython. He cheated!"

I felt my fur wet, I looked up and saw her again crying.

I moved towards her face and licked her tears away.

goddamn it, Lython! This is embarrassing!

With that, her tears bursted more. What?! I didn't do anything wrong, did I?

"Thank you, just let me be like this o-okay?"

"Meow," I answered her.

She nodded her head and hugged me again. I mentally glared when she started to hick.

This woman is too noisy, how can I live a peaceful life with her?
