Im your WHAT?¿

Chapter 5

I woke up not remembering if I had a dream or not but I work to the sound of voices trying to whisper but failed.  

"How could you let her know she's probably freaking out inside of her head" that was Jess talking. 

"She slapped herself out of the dream before I could say anything to her and I think she's been avoiding me"  

"You have to make this right" 

"I will"  

Then I heard the door slam and I gasped falling out of bed.  

"It was the door" Jess said in an annoyed tone.  

"Look who got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning" I said letting off a laugh.  

"Yeah sorry" 

"It's ok"  

I got back into bed. We sat there in silence for a little while but then I broke it.  

"I'm getting ready and going down to the beach"  

"Ok" she said.  

I got out to the beach as quickly as I could. What did Jess mean by 'he had to make it right'?  I dropped the subject and stared out to the ocean.  He would come for me sooner or later and I wasn't exactly ready for him but I had to face him some day.  

I heard footsteps from behind me...here we go!  

"What?" I asked.  

"Nice way to say hello isn't it?" he said his voice dripping with sarcasm.  

"Just get to the point cause I really feel like running around screaming 'vampire vampire trying to kill me!' or screaming 'bloody murder!' like a crazy person" 

He just laughed.  "You left before I could tell you anything"  

I slightly turned to see him looking at me.  

"What do you need to tell me?" I asked.

"You need to know that I would never, ever,hurt you nor would I let anyone else hurt you"

I nodded waiting for him to go on.

"I need you to know that me and you are like...mates"

"We're what!" I shrieked.

"Every vampire has a mate and sometimes they are human" HOW COULD HE BE SO CALM?!

I still didn't believe him. I couldn't be his mate!...it isn't possible!

"I...I" I got up.

"Please don't leave" his voice sounded desperate.

I looked at him and hesantly sat back down.

"Thank you" he smiled.

"How can I be your mate?" I asked looking down.

"I don't know as people say there is a person for everyone out there and I guess people chose you to be mine"

I sighed. "Anything else I need to know?"

"No not right now..."

"In my dream what did you mean by I smelled sweet?"

"Hmm...every vampire who has a mate is normally vampire with vampire but it's very rear for a vampires mate to be human. I meant that...your blood calls to me...it's like I need it for something but I have no idea what...its, sweet..."

I nodded."This is some amount to take in" I breathed.

"I know...and I'm sorry you had to find out this way"
