In a place quite different from the human realm, a place forbidden to the human territory, there the kingdom of Asgard existed.
The golden gates of Asgard (p.s real gold) stood firmly closed, guards in front guarding the kingdom with their lives, it had been a while since any nemesis walked into the mighty kingdom of Asgard for fear of the power that lies within.
In the distant part of Asguard lies Othala, a magical door that only those with Hemidall's blood-the first ancestor of Asguard can open. Those who open the door will be worshipped and will ensure prosperity to the kingdom but it all comes with a curse sadly, no one has been able to open
Prince Raynard stood on the balcony that led to his room, his wings fully spread complimenting his figure, his mysterious almond eyes scanning the area.
His morning robe was tied loosely that his broad muscular chest was left bare
His long white hair rested on his shoulders coiling at the ends as he stretched his hands on the railing admiring the view from up there.
The sight depicts a large stretch of field with houses built in every corner, children playing carelessly without thinking of the possibility of dying the next minute, couples smooching passionately not realizing or dismissing the shouts of people to 'get out of the goddamn line!' He smiled at that 'a little' but pain quickly set in.
Oak trees that had been grown long before the reign of the late king beautified the kingdom and gave it a peaceful atmosphere, amid Asgard was the carnival, fireworks beautified the sky and made the kingdom cheerful, laughs, giggles, and 'some shouts' filled the air...
But even amid all this happiness, Prince Raynard's heart was embittered, it could be because of the death of his father, or because he couldn't find his soulmate, or even because he couldn't be made a king until he found his soulmate.
Still, his biggest fear was that his little brother would find love before him, 'not that he was more good looking than him he just had a better experience with Women'
Prince Reynard would often tell himself, his good looks surely attracted a lot of Women but he wasn't a smooth talker or rather player like his brother who had been the 'main gist' for tabloids,
He was “the charming, cold-hearted inexperienced prince” The ton of his admirers knew that,
He knew that,
and if he wanted to be King before his brother he needed to up his game but how?
The prince blew out a sigh and retreated to his room, stretching his perfectly built body which lacked the soft touch of her, he went to take a bath Alone.
****
Knock knock, a low rattle thumped on the prince's door, “come in” the prince said in reply.
In came his favorite attendant, his ONLY talk-buddy (boyfriend!) Levis looked admirable as always; his thick black hair was styled neatly and his expensive full brows complimented his lightening blue eyes, his wings vanished like dust as a sign of respect after all wings were only to be used during flights or when you're too lazy to walk
Levis had been at the beck and call of Raynard for a long time now and their relationship had thrived more than master and slave but surprisingly friends considering how stone-hearted he can be.
“The Queen would like you to be present for dinner Prince Reynard.”
He smirked clearly trying to annoy the prince by calling him formally
He slid his hands out of his flawlessly pleated suit pants that aligned with his hand-made wool suit
Reynard studied him for a moment before deciding to play along.
