I got home and did my homework quickly so I had time to get ready. Just as I was about to go up stairs to get ready, my mom asked me something. "Why such a hurry?" Great, I thought. Ok, I'll just tell her.
"Ok, so you know Justin? Well we're sort of a thing now and we're going out." I told her.
"Well, you better be home by eleven. You know how your dad gets!" She told me.
"I know. Well, I have to go get ready so I'll be upstairs." I told my mom starting up the stairs.
I went to my closet and found a red dress that I bought online with an old friend. It was long and made of silk which meant it was very comfy! On one side, it went down to my ankle and the other, was at my thigh. This is going to be great, I thought.
I looked over at my phone and Justin was calling. I picked up the phone. "Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Hey Kate, I'm getting ready to pull in the driveway. " He tells me.
"Ok, I'll be out in a second." I tell him.

When we get to the school, Justin opens the door for me." There you go m'lady." I look up at Justin and his eyes sparkle in the moonlight.
"Thank you!" I step out of the car and look at the school. I can't believe I'm going to the school dance!
