Unforgettable Birthday

As Amy caught up with her father and her siblings she noticed one was missing. She didn't care too much for his absence she enjoyed having her relatives around not after seeing them for so long. In this moment Amy was on cloud 9, she had all of her loved ones here with her. As she looked around the room everyone was smiling from ear to ear having a nice evening. John and Arthur were dancing around like lunatics, Michael and Polly were smiling and laughing together, Ada and the girls were drinking and dancing and there was her Tommy standing by the bar admiring her from head to toe. She knew in this very moment he was the very man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, he had done so much to surprise her on her birthday she felt like the luckiest woman alive. Excusing herself from her father she let her feet guide her towards Tommy. Approaching him she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Tommy, have I ever told you I am the luckiest woman alive to call you mine" Amy smirked as she looked him in the eyes.

"That's the other way around love, the look on your face made all the rushing and racing worth it" He said as they kissed again.

"Thank you Tommy, I love you" She said

"I love you too, now lets drink some champagne as we are celebrating a very special day" He laughed

"Yeah a day I turn another year older" She frowned picking up her glass and necking back the containments.

The drinks were flowing and everyone was having a good time. After her and Tommy had spent some alone time in the back they re-joined the party only for Ada to run over to Amy.

"Told you he wouldn't last long with you in that dress" She smirked running off before Amy could strike her.

"Ada, sssh my father is around somewhere" Amy said going to hit her but wasn't quick enough.

Tommy turned her around to look at her with his hands on her waist.

"Shes right, when you walked in in this dress I nearly lost control, that's only the start of the rounds love, I hope you are ready" He winked kissing her again.

"Well its about time you found someone else my darling" William spoke

Amy quickly turned around glancing at her father. She quickly gathered herself as she took Tommys hand in hers.

"I would introduce you both but it seems ye have already met" Amy said

"That we have my child, this man is a very intelligent man, when he sent me an invitation to my own daughters surprise party of course I couldn't refuse, I had to see the man whos been keeping my daughter from me" William laughed as they all laughed together.

"Thomas, you are a good man, you are like one of us, I have never seen my daughter as happy as she was the moment she laid eyes on you once she turned from me this evening, so for that I thank you, now enough of the sloppy talk, lets have some fun" William cheered as everyone went towards the bar. As they made there way there Amy was quickly spun around to be faced with Liam.

"Well Hello birthday girl, you've been here an hour and Im only seeing you now this cant be possible" Liam joked pulling her in for a hug. "Now where is this Thomas" He asked looking around for him. Amy could feel something in her stomach. She was nervous. "Ah there he is, hes looking into my soul" He said. Amy closed her eyes knowing Thomas wasn't happy if his attention was already on them. "Eh Thomas, yeah you get over here" Liam shouted gesturing for Tommy to join them. Amy put her fingers to her nose and closed her eyes embarrassed by Liams outburst.

"Well if it isn't the man of the hour, I have been dying to meet you Thomas, I am Liam Murphy, an old pal of Amys, its a pleasure to meet the man who now has her heart" Liam smiled putting out his hand to shake Tommys. Tommy looked at his hand then looked at him not willing to shake his hand. Liam stood there waiting for Tommy to shake his hand. Amy just looked from one to the other hoping nothing would kick off. Tommy eventually took his hand as he looked him up and down.
