"What the hell took you morons so long !?"

"Something came up, that's all !" I yelled back, trying to sit correctly on the back seat, which was pretty hard with all the sudden turns Anne took with the cars that sent Max and I flying and hitting the doors of the car.

As I tried to sit, I noticed no police were following us.

"Anne, you said the police were following us...?"

I saw a hint of panic in her eyes and her voice was shaking a bit. Weird...

"Y-yea... we must have lost them..."

Just as she said that, a notification came up on her screen. It was a message from a so-called "Mother". I reached the front of the car, where Anne's phone was placed. She had the brand new model of flip-phone, which means we could see the notifications pop up.

"Dienne, what are you-"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

"Give me my pho-"

"SHUT UP, YOU FUCKING BITCH AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD"

I snatched the phone out of the support and sat back down in the backseat next to Max, who was eating his nails nervously. I opened the message and read out loud:

" « Great, drive them to the place » ANNE WHAT ?! DON'T TELL ME... "

"Shut up Dienne, don't make this harder and it needs to be," she dryly said.

"You are handing us both in?! Are you serious?! Why ?!"

I quickly looked over at Max, whose eyes were wide open in fear. He was shaking from everywhere, because he knew the sentence that was given to those who escaped or tried to escape jail: death. I held his hand to try and let him know that I know what to do and that I won't let anything happen to him, except that the truth is that I'm as clueless as him, right now.

Anne took a few seconds to answer my question, and, as she kept a cold and menacing glare, she declared:

"Did you seriously think I'd help you get Max out of jail that easily? Where is the fun in that?"

"YOU DARE-!"

Here it is again. That horrible anger feeling. It makes my heart beat really fast as my whole body shakes with anger. The more I try to keep my anger inside, the more complicated it becomes. I have the massive urge to destroy the car.

It's a really complicated feeling that not many people can understand, but trust me, it can be very scary.

I hate it because not only does it take the best of me, but it also makes me do stupid and reckless decisions and I lose control over my actions, which is pretty dangerous when you're in a car...

With no warning, I pulled Anne's hair from behind and reached to grab the wheel as my sister was screaming in pain and swearing. I had no idea of what I was doing, I was just doing what my emotions were telling me to do, without thinking of the consequences.

Anne was swearing at me as I swore back at her. The car was making dangerous turns, which looked as if we were going to crash in a building for a few seconds.

Max, seeing the danger of the current situation, was pulling me back into the seat in an attempt to make me lose my grip on Anne's hair. But in vain: my grip kept getting stronger.

"LET GO OF MY HAIR, YOU IDIOT, OR I'M CRASHING THE CAR STRAIGHT INTO A BUILDING !!"

"DIENNE, LET GO !!" Max screamed, pulling me back into the backseat by the waist. "WE CAN FIND A SOLUTION, BUT FOR NOW, WE HAVE TO STAY ALIVE FOR A START, YOU HEARD ME?!"
