Marrinette's POV :I was living a life of a princess or something mom and dad were really nice to me they made sure that I had everything I ever needed.

My dad Vanitas was spoiling me to the core thank the gods I still acted how I usaually would being nice to everyone. I was glad that I had a new life here.

I would not trade it for anything else. I was so happy. I had to wonder how everyone back in Paris was doing? Wait why should I even care they tossed me out.

I didn't really care anyways. I have all I want right here right now. I get a nice bath, A nice place to sleep, and also a nice place to eat.

My Mom Jeanne made sure to enroll me into another school called Bright Lights academy school of artistic talent.

My nack for desinging fashion skyrockted and also I found out that I could sing. Jeanne taught me a few things about singing and Vanitas also taught me how to sing as well. (A/N: Yes the trivia in the wiki metions that there is a character song that he shares with Noe and is sung buy their Japanese voice actors so in my fanfic Vanitas can sing deal with it.)

Jeanne was playing the Piano to the tune of Scarborough Fair

(Marinette starts the song)

🎶Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme

Remember me to one who lives there

She once was a true love of mine

(Vanitas sings the second verse)

Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (in the deep forest green)

Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme

(Tracing of sparrow on snow-crested ground)

Without no seams nor needle work

(Bedclothes the child of the mountain)

Then she'll be a true love of mine

(Sleeps unaware of the clarion call)

(Marinette sings the third verse)

Tell her to find me an acre of land

(A sprinkling of leaves)

Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme

(Washes the grave with silvery tears)

Between the salt water and the sea strands

(And polishes a gun)

Then she'll be a true love of mine

(Vanitas sings the fourth verse)

Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather

(Blazing in scarlet battalions)

Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme

(Generals order their soldiers to kill)

And gather it all in a bunch of heather

(A cause they've long ago forgotten)

Then she'll be a true love of mine

(Chorus Vanitas and Marinette both sing the last verse)

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme

Remember me to one who lives there

She once was a true love of mine🎶

As the last notes were played the song ended. "You were amazing your voice was very beautiful." Vanitas said.

"Thanks dad." I said. "I will go make us something to eat Marinette, Jeanne do you two mind setting the table?" Vanitas asked.

"No problem leave it to me and mom." I said as I went to get the plates and eating tools.

"I did not know that dad could cook mom did you know that dad could cook." I asked Jeanne.

"No I did not unitl he told me about his past and how he cooked for his adoptive family." Jeanne said.

"Adoptive family?" I asked Jeanne. "Yes though it is not for me to say it is not something that Vanitas is fond of talking about it either." Jeanne said.

"Okay I will ask dad about it to see if he is willing to talk about it." I said.

" Okay but catious because he does not like people directly asking him about his past." Jeanna warned.

I knew there were alot of things about my new mom and dad that I did not know about.

However, I still wanted to know what my new dad went through.
