Marinette's POV : I have waited ages for this to happen. Today is the day of the open house.
I am so glad that mom and Dad had agreed to attend they are the best parnets that any girl can ever wish for.
My dad may be a little weird but he is a very protective father. My mom is tough and she helps keep my dad in line.
And with the both of them you have the perfect parents. I was day dreaming in class and I heard footsteps enter through the door way.
My heart lifted to the heavens it was my parents. My teacher called for our attention and asked us who would liked to introduce them.
My had flew up and the teacher asked if these were my parents. I nodded and went up to intorduce them.
"Hello class please weclome my mom Jeanne and my father Vanitas." I said with a big smile on my face.
Later a few of the other students parents arrived and I got to meat Zack's Parents they were also very nice and told Zack that I was a keeper Zack's face went red as he told his parents it was not like that.
"So is this the boy you fancy?" Dad asked me and I told him that I don't know him well enough to to fancy him.
My mom and dad decided to go mingle with some of the other parents who came to the open house and have chat with the teacher.
This is the life, I thought to myself. No backstabing classmates and no Lila I feel so light. This was the best open house experince I ever had.
Usually the teachers would be saying something like your daughter needs to set a good example or something of the like.
I don't really care anymore. I walked over to my mom and dad and hugged them to thank them for coming.
Vanitas and Jeanne returned my hug. So what did the teacher say about me?" I asked mom. "She said that you are very talented." Mom replied
"She also said that you will make a great designer one if you are not already one." Dad said.
"I actually have alot of companies who want to patner with me." I said in a shy voice. "Wow really I an so proud of you." My dad said.
"You get a gold star." My mom said. I was so happy. "Wow that's quite the family they have there." Zack said.
Little did Marinette know that Zack had crush on her. You all may ask when Zack started feeling like this towards Marinette well it started as soon as he met her.
He knew right away that she would be the one to free him from the shackles of darkness that bound him .
Her family mainly her mom and dad were also a bit intresting to say the least. Her dad was a bit odd if what he was wearing was anything to go by and her mother looked to be from a noble family.
"So are you both nobles of something?" Zack decided to pop the question.
"What makes you say that?" My dad asked. "We both come from pretty nomal families give or take." My mom said.
"Well as I grew up I guess you could say wealth came flooding in with the work I do." My dad said.
"Well I also have wealth flooding in for me too from what I do but we really can't say what work we do because its top secret." My mom said.
"I understand." Zack said.
