The next few days after Jihoon confessed to Yoshi became awkward for the two. Despite that, Jihoon never missed making Yoshi breakfast before going to work.
Yoshi woke up in an empty bed. He sighed before getting up to prepare for work. After Jihoon confessed to him, he never got a chance to talk to the guy, as Jihoon was either going to work too early or coming home too late. Getting used to Jihoon's act of service, he absentmindedly went to the kitchen and saw a breakfast cooked for him. Beside the plate was a cute pastel blue note with Jihoon's handwriting on it.
Eat well. I'll be late again; don't wait for me.
Yoshi pouted after reading the note. He wanted to talk to Jihoon, but knowing that Jihoon needed some space, he didn't push his wish. Jihoon is a good cook; Yoshi can testify to it. In the past few days too, Jaehyuk kept on messaging him, telling him about some rumors floating around him and Jihoon.
Speaking of the devil, Jaehyuk messaged him again so early in the morning. He read the message, already thinking that it was probably another rumor about him and Jihoon, but he was wrong.
Jaehyuk: Do you know about this? [attached image]
Yoshi frowned when he saw a picture of Jihoon happily talking with a beautiful young lady, his hand at the lower back of the woman, showing a little intimacy between the two.
Yoshi [using Jihoon's phone and number (plus body, of course)]: No?
Jaehyuk: Oh, sorry. I thought you knew.
Yoshi: No, it's fine. I'll talk to him later. Thank you, Jae.
Yoshi dropped the phone on the table, his left hand holding firmly on the edge of the table while he was trying to balance his body while leaning a little. Why was he suddenly pissed off?
Yoshi tried to ignore the picture that Jaehyuk sent, but it kept popping into his mind, even at work. He couldn't focus properly in his meetings, which made Jaehyuk give him a sympathetic and apologetic look. Jaehyuk knew how serious his best friend is when it comes to relationships, so he knew that Jihoon (which is Yoshi) was hurting because of the idea that his partner might be cheating on him.
That night, Yoshi waited for Jihoon patiently. It was already past midnight when Jihoon got home. He jumped in surprise when he saw Yoshi sitting on the couch, seriously looking at him. He cleared his throat before he greeted Yoshi, who didn't even budge from his place and remained silent.
"Why are you not sleeping yet?" Jihoon asked as he removed his necktie, throwing it into the basket where his dirty clothes were. Jihoon saw Yoshi stand up and walk closer to him. He stopped unbottoning his shirt and looked at Yoshi with questioning eyes.
"So you're dating someone; that's why you're always late going home." Yoshi said that made Jihoon even more confused. Yoshi noticed Jihoon's reaction, so he showed the latter the picture that Jaehyuk sent to him earlier. Jihoon finally understood what was happening after seeing the picture.
