Sidefall fixed up his tie. He was nervous, after all, he was still a rookie. Next to him in the lobby was Red, who was happily snacking on some fries.

"Hey, you seem pretty tense Sidefall. You sure you can actually do this?" Red consumed more fries.

"Obviously I can, but can you like.. stop chewing      those fries?" He checked his watch. Almost time.

Sidefall worried about this 'demon prosecutor' guy. From what Wei said, he might as well take Sidefall down below.

This man is 100 percent a dirty player. Likely an evidence forger or 'prepares' testimonies for the witnesses. It was just a guess, but maybe he did worse things. Whatever this guy does, Sidefall knows he needs to stop him.

Otherwise, his client will become guilty for a crime he probably didn't do.

Actually, he wasn't that sure if he did it or not since he didn't talk at all yesterday. He was still pretty angry about that.

In fact, thinking about it made him angrier.

"Hey, Earth to Sidefall?" Red nudged him slightly. "Dude you're spacing out. Also, I think it's time to go."

Sidefall sighed. "Right, let's go in the court room.

"Court will now be in session for the trial of Thunder Underline," the judge said.

"The defense is ready," Sidefall paused. "Your honor."

"The prosecution is ready, your honor."

The demon prosecutor. Never lost a single case in his life. The aura he gave out filled the entire room with fear. Sidefall felt so neevous his heart might jump out of his throat.

It didn't help how handsome he looked either, his fluffy brown hair and his dazzling eyes probably captured every girl's hearts.

"May the prosecution call their first witness?"

The prosecutor cracked his neck before pulling a notepad. It was yellow and was about the same size as someone's palm. A few seconds later, he flipped a page and put the little notepad down.

"I would like to call the detective in charge of this case. Wei."

Yikes. The poor detective might just get her salary lowered again.

She awkwardly walked up to the witness stand.

Wei looked pretty worried which is saying something since she's so laid back.

"Detective, testimony. Describe the incident." The prosecutor gave the poor detective a glare.

"Yes sir," she frowned. "Uh.."

Witness Testimony
——

"If you take a look at the floorplan of Hikaru's room, you can see that the window was by the rightr if the room next to the living area. The murder occured at night, around 6:00. There was a butler coming to his room to give him shampoo and conditioner."

The prosecutor held a slight grin, seemingly confident of the testimony. His little 'perfect testimony'.

How was Sidefall going to deal with an unbreakable testimony?

"When the butler had entered, glass was on the floor and there was the suspect about to climb out the window. A bit later, Hikaru had came out of the shower and seen the body. Around 30 or so seconds later, another butler came in."
