"Don't touch me" Persephone screamed. " never in my life have i stayed in such darkness. In such a lifeless, colourless environment . You have wreaked havoc on my mind. You have taken my soul out of me. Look at me , i have lost all i was . I am as shallow as you are now".
All her words pierced through me like an arrow. She is not just my queen, my love or my partner. I revere her . I worship her.  I want to be close to her . So close that our souls get intertwined.
How do i explain this to her? She is all the light i have .
She is ichor  flowing in my veins .
The kind of solace many find under a tree on a hot sunny day.
The kind of solace children find in mother's lap in darkness.
The kind of solace i never new existed.
I could go against whole Olympus to keep her close .
"Persephone"  I say , almost trembling and crying. " I would set the tartarus on  fire  and not let a flame touch you.  I chant your name with every breath. You want light?  Tartarus won't see a night now onwards. You want colours? Even the dead souls will have to bear flowers now onwards."
I turned and walked away, not knowing where to go.
