If you google "romanticize the meaning of your life," you'll find this:
"Romanticizing your life means taking the time to appreciate your day-to-day life, no matter how mundane some parts may be. It means understanding that even the little things in your life are important and valuable to your happiness." (1)
That's not wrong, but it's not true. For me, to romanticize life is not only to appreciate it, it's to live it, to be in the present, to stop thinking about the past, to make it more enjoyable, to give YOU time... I'm not saying you should stop working in order to have fun, not at all! The goal is to be able to live your life while you have school or a job and enjoy it. But remember that romanticizing life is not just saying "Wow, I love my life, it's so cool!" and deep down thinking "I hate my life!", it's an inner work, it takes time and motivation to show you that life has a lot to offer and is just waiting for YOU.
