Path of Redemption Part 3
Author's POV
Nirmala was overjoyed at the news of her son's return. he was coming back after four years but her cheerful mood dropped after a fight with Siya. For them Siya was their Little Princess whose world revolved around them back but today she didn't even spare them a glance and what was most infuriating for her was that she was treating them like her enemy for the girl whom she and her family loved as their own daughter but in return she betrayed them by cheating on their son.
Everything was so good. everyone was so happy together but her one betrayal changed everything.
Whenever she remembered that the problems in their life was because of Radhika, her hatred for her increased further.
"I will never forgive you for snatching my daughter away from me" she bellowed gritting her teeth and walked towards her room. she stormed inside closing doors behind her with a slam getting Rajeev's attention who was talking on phone.
He quickly ended the call when he saw his wife seething in anger, muttering something to herself.
"What happened??" he asked walking to her who growled before letting out "she snatched my daughter from me"
These words were enough for him to understand was the reason for her anger.
"Everything will be alright" he said with a sigh while side hugging his wife who looked at him with disappointment in her eyes and asked "do you really think everything will be alright. Our daughter is slowly drifting away from us and I am afraid that we may lose her forever. Please do something, she will listen to you."
He shut his eyes painfully hearing. There was a time when she was his princess who used to follow his every word blindly but today, she didn't even spare a glance for him, it hurt him brutally "She used to listen to me but not anymore"
"I want my daughter back" she said to him, desperation clearly visible in her voice and a tear slipped down from her eyes making his heart clench painfully. He wiped her tears away with sad expression "I am helpless"
these three words broke her heart and tears started falling from her eyes one by one and his eyes also became moist seeing his wife like this.
They knew that they had no way of getting their lovely and bubbly daughter back because she completely trusted Radhika that she was right and Advay was wrong and they both believed that Advay was right and Radhika was wrong. They stood on the different bank of a river that never meet, but if they wanted to meet each other, one of them will have to leave their side and come to the other side, and no one was ready for that.
"I hate her" she cried out putting her head on his chest who just shut his eyes in despair.
They didn't know for how long they stood like this but when they heard a knock on the door, they separated from each other. She opened the door and saw a maid standing outside the door with a smile adoring her face.
She arched her eyebrow to ask her why did she come?
"Advay Sir" These two words made her dampened face shine instantly and her eyes lit up with joy forgetting other worries.
"Has he come??" She asked her to confirm to which she nodded her head making her smile widely.
She felt her husband arm wrapping around her shoulder. She looked up at him with shiny eyes making him happy because this was the first time her eyes were shining with happiness otherwise, she always had tears in her eyes.
"Our son is back" she said emotionally and he nodded his head with a wide smile.
"let's go" he said and they went to living where their son was waiting for them whom they were meeting for the first time in four years. they tried to make him come to India several times but he flatly refused for it and even forbade them to come to America to meet him as he needed some time for himself but he promised them that when he was ready for this, he will come back to India and after the hard work of four years of them, he finally came back to India.
