"Had the patient had any accident earlier??" The doctor asked the two men sitting in front of him, who frowned in confusion hearing this and looked at each other and then fixed their eyes on the doctor, who was waiting for answer.

"No, as far as we know, nothing like this happened and even if he had an accident, we would definitely know, but why are you asking this??" Rajeev answered him and at the end he asked because he did not know that Advay had ever had an accident.

"Yes, doctor why are you asking about this?? Is it something serious??" Kunal asked to which the doctor shook his head with a sigh before starting "listen to what I am going to say with a cool head and don't get panic. I know this is going to be very difficult for you all but nothing will be get better if you panic........" Kunal cut him off as his words were arising a strange dread in him.

He had spent more than 24 hours in the hospital without eating and sleeping only in the hope that once he got to hear that Advay was fine, then he could only become Radhika's brother and not Advay's best friend, which he was from the moment he got Rahim's call.

"Doctor please stop talking in riddles and just tell us what happened to him??" his voice was came out little shaky and the next words he heard from the doctor were enough for him to take his soul from his body

"He is dying" doctor's words fell on them like a bomb which made them numb who could listen everything but couldn't react.

"What the fuck are you saying?? Are you fucking lost your mind???" Kunal was the one who came out of the shock and shouted at the doctor banging his hands on the table while getting up from chair as a lone tear rolled down from his eyes.

How could he say that he was dying??

He had just come back after four years and he had a lot to fix that he messed up four years ago so how could he leave them forever???

Doctor sighed heavily but didn't lose his calm as he knew that it was not easy to break such news on patients' family, nor to digest them but he couldn't do anything, his reports were saying this.

"Mr. Jaiswal please take a seat and listen to me carefully. I have said that he is dying but we can save him, we still have chances so please" the doctor gestured towards the chair and his last words soothed his thumping heart.

Kunal sat down when he heard that there was still a chance to save Advay but before that he needed to know what happened to him.

"What happened to him and why don't you do what is necessary to save him" Kunal opened his mouth but Rajeev beat him. When Rajeev heard that Advay was dying, he felt as if someone had taken his life out of his body. He felt like dead inside, no pain, no emotions. He loved his family very much and he couldn't see them in pain.

"Yes, we will do whatever is necessary to save him but for that I want to know his medical history that how did all this happen to him that's why I asked you that he had an accident but you say that nothing like that happened. " The doctor said calmly pushing a file towards them which had all the test reports of Advay and asked them to read it.

After reading that file, the ground slipped from under the feet of both while tears started flowing like rivers.

"The patient has severe internal brain injury which is getting more complicated with each passing time which we need to operate on time" declared the doctor and briefed them about Advay's condition that he had a heavy blood clot in his brain which needed to be removed as it was life threatening for him.

This news was no less than a shock for them and Rajeev felt that his everything was vanishing in front of his eyes and he couldn't do anything even if he wanted to.
