— reviews with you what your parents references for your boyfriend would be and tries to follow them as best as he can
— he dressed up in his best clothes and fixed himself nicely. he even got the stylist involved.
— though, even if he didn't prepare, your parents wouldn't care because they fell in love with his face the first time you showed a picture of him.

— a little nervous but didn't worry that much.
— he knew that the people who aren't afraid to be themselves are much more likeable, so he did that. — he acted the way he always does but in a respectful and polite manner.
— he charmed your parents with his humor and made sure to be a gentleman towards you and your mom.
— your parents couldn't stop talking about how much they liked him once he left.

beomgyu
— like soobin, he was incredibly nervous but like for just one day.
— he panicked about it for one day and then forgot about it the next few days until it was actually the day he had to meet them.
— he crammed on preparing to see them like it was a quiz he didn't study for. he picked out his best clothes and fixed his hair nicely.
— the entire time, he was nice and respectful but looked quite uptight so your parents had to remind him not to be so nervous.
— he showed a little more of his humorous side and they thoroughly enjoyed it but was still screaming internally.

taehyun
— a little nervous too but overall was confident.
— taehyun is aware that he is a smart, intelligent, approachable young man and the definition of a living slay.
— he didn't have much to fear.
— he was calm and collected around your parents and indirectly told them about his accomplishments as an idol to impress them.
— he also told them some facts that are academically impressive to wow them on his knowledge about the world. some of them even impressed you too.

hueningkai
— like soobin, he prepared ahead of time but didn't panic as much as he did. instead, he was confident about preparing.
— if you ever watched b99 season 4 (spoilers to those who haven't made it to s4 sorry), in the episode 'mr. santiago', jake peralta made an entire binder on facts about the dad of his girlfriend, amy santiago.
— kai did the same thing with your parents. not every fact about them of course, but definitely a lot.
— he memorized key facts about them and also discussed with you topics they might be interested in talking about.
— he came out of the house satisfied on the conversations and interactions he had with your parents.
