"You're a piece of shit. I shouldn't' have had u in the first place."
My mom's words kept echoing in my head. I'm sitting in this abandoned park. I always come here when I'm sad or not feeling myself. The reason I came here today is cause of my mom. She thinks it's okay to vent her anger on me. The words she uses can be really hard. I know she doesn't really mean it, but it still hurts especially when the person you love the most hurts you.
"Lele" I look back wiping my tears to see it's Bennett. "Are you alright" he asked trying to move my hair from my face which made me flinch. "Why'd you flinch" he asked in a concerned tone. "She's hitting you again isn't she." I couldn't talk so I just nodded my head. He signed giving me a hug.
"Remember that one time when I hit you with a book and you started to cry and complained to my mom" he randomly spoke which made me laugh. "Remember the time you peed in your pants cause you laughed so much" I said making him chuckle.
Bennett always had a way to make me happy no matter what the situation was and I really admire that from him. I just had to think of him when ever I'm sad and I'll automatically smile.
"It's getting late. Come on I'll walk you home" he said giving me his hand. I held his hand and got up while dusting off the imaginary dirt.
We slowly walked until we reached. The walk was too quick. I just wanted to be with him for some more time.
"Take care lele." He said. We kept staring at each other, it was like we couldn't stop nor could we move which made me realise we were still holding hands.
Our staring competition quickly ended when his phone started to ring. "Shit it's Ashley I totally forgot we made plans today. I need to go lele."
The moment he let go of my hand, I felt empty. I just want him to be mine. I know it's selfish of me but if I'm ever gonna fall in love it's gonna be him.
But if he's ever gonna fall in love it's gonna be Ashley. IT'S ALWAYS BEEN HER.
