Y/n pov

You let out a soft sigh as you lean against your motorcycle, staring down in confusion at the tourist map of Mistral that you got your hand on, constantly looking up from the map to scan the area around you before looking back down at the map again.

Y/n: Maybe we should have asked those friendly people in the village to point out where specifically on the map we were. (looks over at Yang) Because I have completely lost count of where we are on the map.

Yang sighs as she slips her aviators off and walks over next to you, propping herself up against you on your motorcycle while you both stared at the map. Yang slowly raised her robotic arm and traced her finger along the very thin off-road paths drawn.

Yang: (pondering) Let's see... We took a left a few minutes ago, and this straight path doesn't seem to be ending soon. (hums curiously) And last time I checked, we were closer to the mountains than the sea right now. So I'd say we are about here!

Yang grins confidently as she seemingly randomly points at a straight path on the map, clearly trying to make it seem like she knows where she's going.

Y/n: (sighs) It would help if Tai actually gave us some more info on where the Branwen camp was. Then we could easily pinpoint where we are.

Yang smiles and gently takes your hand in hers, which makes you turn your head and look at her, staring deep into her hypnotizing lilac-coloured eyes. She takes the map from you and puts it away, giving your cheek a soft kiss.

Yang: We will make it in time. So there is no need to stress about where we are. And besides, I bet we will run into way more of my mom's bandits the closer we get to the camp, so that will be a clear sign.

You nod in agreement, returning the soft smile as you lean in and kiss her cheek.

Y/n: Yeah... You're right. No need to worry about it too much right now, all that matters is that we find her and have her take us to our friends.

Yang: Definitely, (looks up at the sky) But I think right now might be the best time to pull over somewhere and set up a quick rest place.

You looked up at the sky as well and sighed, having completely not realized that the sun was already starting to set. You were too absorbed into the drive that time just seemed to pass you both by so fast. With a soft smile, Yang walks back over to her motorcycle and ignites it as she hops on. You soon followed suit and did the same, you both sharing a nod before speeding down the road a bit further to find a perfect place to set up camp at. You both spend a few more minutes on the road before finally finding a perfect little clearing in the woods to set up camp on. You parked your bikes up against two trees nearby before getting to work on gathering various sticks and stones to build a makeshift campfire with. Once that was all finished and built, walked over to your bike and pulled out a pair of matches you picked up in one of the villages you went through on the road, while Yang unstrapped a large sleeping bag you had gotten your hands on as well.

Yang: You know, it almost feels like we're on one large camping trip.

Y/n: (chuckles) Except we have a reason for being out here besides toasting marshmallows over a fire.

Yang giggles and rolls out the sleeping bag before unzipping her jacket, folding it up neatly on top of Bumblebee to not risk it getting overly dirty. The sun soon disappeared behind the nearby mountains, casting darkness over the thick forest, with the only thing lighting up the nearby trees right now being your makeshift campfire. You sat down on the sleeping bag and slipped your jacket off as well, laying it down next to you with no worrying about it dirtying, something even Yang took note of.
