Jh'maia POV

"Girl, don't these people know to mind their business." X'cya says, side eyeing everyone in the room.

"Well well well if it isn't Jh'maia Wilson." I look behind me, seeing Keygon. One of Jake's friends, walking up to our table.

"What do you want Keygon?"

"I feel a little special you still remember my name. But I'm more focused on this gem over here." He says walking over to X'cya.

"Hello beautiful. Keygon Louis." He says stretching his hand out to her.

"Foot down your throat." She says shaking his hand with a big smile on her face.

Mickiyah begins to cough, hitting the table laughing. I shake my head covering my laugh with a cough.

"I like feisty women." He says smirking.

"Really. Well I'm the type to cut throats." She says with a sweet smile, before her face drops.
"Literally."

I watch amused as he shifts awkwardly, but tried to play it off like he wasn't scared. X'cya's a short woman, but don't be fooled. As she said, she cuts throats.

"Jh'maia." My face becomes blank when I see Jake walk up to us.
"Can we talk please?"

"So you're the one that rejected my girl." Mickiyah says playing with the butter knife, X'cya growling lowly. Both of their eyes flickering, letting me know their wolves were trying to have control.

"Girls." They look to me and X'cya's yellow eyes, fade back to her brown ones, while Mickiyah's had a mixture of both her hazel brown and her wolf's green eyes.

I stand to my feet.
"I'll be back."

"Stay in eye sight." Mickiyah commands, and I nod. We walk away from the table, going over to a more private area in the room.

"We didn't know if you were dead or alive."

"Well I'm alive aren't I." I look out the window, that showed a beautiful view of the forest.

"I'm sorry I rejected you."

"I'm not." I turn to him.
"I was never meant to be here."

"Don't say that. You were a member-"

"I was the girl whose mother abandoned her pack and rejected her mate for a rogue. Looked down by everyone single one of them who are listening to our conversation right now." I look around the room, watching as some of them lowered their heads.
"But I'm not regretful of it."

We here the loud sound of glasses breaking and we look over only to see Macey on the ground picking up the broken glass.

"You rotten girl. Look what you did to my dress!" Claire shouts at her. Jake stayed frozen in his spot, while I made my way over to her.

Grabbing tightly unto Claire's hand that was pulling on Macey's head.

"Let her go."
