𝙷𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚑𝚊𝚔𝚒 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎: 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚟𝚒𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚖 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚜 𝚞𝚙 𝚏𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛 𝚙𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚜𝚞𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚘𝚗𝚎-𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚍 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎.

(A.N- secret garden has been on loop for me recently and inspired this some what)

     It was quiet...team Kakashi was on a mission and Kakashi let the others go ahead of him for a bit...Kakashi stopped putting his hand on the tree and he start coughing...he pulled down his mask coughing into his hand. Blood and petals...it was something Kakashi couldn't escape he took medicine to slow the effects but...even if he has managed it for years with help of the medicine its been getting worse.

He fell to his knees hunched over coughing into his hand blood and petals on the ground...his team seemed to notice. Sakura running over with Naruto, Yamato, and Sai...Kakashi could hear their voices but...he didn't process any words...how did he end up in this situation...how did he get this curse...this disease...

"You idiot you can't even use hand signs right!"
"Shut up Baka-shi!"

...thats right...it was then...all those years ago...there is only one cure for this disease but...for Kakashi...there is none...he remembered seeing Tsunade for it after the 3rd war. She told him the only cure is when the beloved returns their feelings or...when the victim dies.
Kakashi collapsed it hurt to breathe...

"Obito..."

Years ago

"Shut up Baka-shi!" The angry Uchiha pointed at Kakashi. "My hand signs are perfectly fine!"

"No you did tiger sign wrong. Your an Uchiha shouldn't you be able to at least do that."

"Enough the both of you." Minato bonked the two on the top of their heads "y'all are teammates try to get along"
Obito and Kakashi rubbed their heads and huffed looking away from each-other.

"Whatever. Im going to go practice my fire ball jutsu!" Obito took off into the clearing leaving Kakashi and Minato in the tree covering.

"...are you that scared of your own feelings Kakashi..?" Minato knew something about Kakashi no one else did.

"Attachments and emotions are weaknesses in the shinobi world...I can't let them get in the way." Kakashi watched Obito run off "besides..."
Obito started talking to Rin rubbing the back of his head and blushing ever so slightly.
"...it wouldn't matter anyway."

Minato sighed and ruffled Kakashi's hair, "it's true that its said to be weakness but...it's also a drive to protect and fight...its the will of fire...something you love and want to protect...have you found your will of fire Kakashi"

Kakashi said nothing as he watched Rin and Obito...there was a pain in his chest but he payed no attention to it.

Minato shook his head "I understand that what happened to your father-"

"He broke the law and it lead to his downfall."Kakashi's eyes narrowed and he turned away. "I'm gonna go train." He walked away.

Kakashi winced in pain clutching his arm...he had been trying to perfect Chidori and got carried away..."damnit."
He stood up holding his arm as he activated Chidori again the sound ringing in his ears he dash at a tree striking it, suddenly a sharp pain shot through his whole arm the pain making him dizzy as he keeled over clutching his arm.
