It was around Marks birthday, maybe a week or so before, which made the 4 year old Mark incredibly happy.

"Honey, do you remember what you want for your birthday?"

"Mhm! I want cupcakes, a new trampoline, a swing, a puppy, and toys, and a new stuffie!" Mark exclaimed with happiness, and he hugged his small little plush blue rabbit.

"Alright, do you want another animal for Blueberry?" They asked, as they wondered off to continue making Marks ham and mustard sandwich.

"Mhm! I don't know what though.. maybe another rabbit friend.. or maybe a cute bear! Oo, that one can be Strawberry if there's a pink one!" Mark was off on his own trail of thought, and they smiled as they heard little Mark think aloud.

"Oh, did I just say that aloud? Sorry, but at least you know what kind of stuffie I want!" Mark headed upstairs, he needed some socks. His feet were sticking to the ground and he hated it, so he went to go and get his favorite pair.

They were about done with the ham sandwich, and they turned around.

"Do you want extra mustard?" They yelled, waiting for Marks response.

"Mhm! Extra mustard is always nice!" Mark yelled back, as he put on his last sock. As soon as he was done, he ran back downstairs to get his sandwich.

——-

It was now maybe 8 or 9 p.m, and Mark was sleepy. The person ushered him to bed as he yawned, as he still held Blueberry.

The person opened his door, and Mark went inside. But he made sure to go back and hug them, and said goodnight. "Goodnight, Mark." They said, as they shut the door with a smile.

Mark crawled into bed and moved the blanket slightly so he could crawl into his nice cozy covers, which were fluffy. Mark loved anything fluffy, but it often included plushies and blankets.

The tv turned on, and the bright white light lit up the room in a matter of time. Mark stared, wide eyed as he saw the tv turn on. They told him never to use it, but he didn't get on why he couldn't.  The static stay put, and a man appeared.

"Hello?" Mark asked, as he pulled his covers off of him.

The figure did not respond, but really sort of crawled out of the tv. The person was wearing a hoodie, pitch black, but seemed friendly to Mark. He got out of bed, and looked up to the person.

"What's your name?" He asked, curious.

"Anything, i'm just here for you." They responded.

"Really? Are you like, a really early birthday present?" Mark asked, and Anything looked confused.

"A birthday present? What? No, i'm here for you. I'm like, here to take you.." Anything stated, and he knelt down to be at eye level with Mark.

"What do you mean, take you? I will go with my permission, and right now,I like my home. So, I will not go with you. Even thought you do seem friendly..." Mark mumbled, but he seemed proud.

"He's putting up a little fight. Tough target." Intruder thought, and he frowned.

"Is there something wrong? Did I upset you? I'm sorry if I did, it's just I don't want to go with strangers who don't give me a good reason and a name." Mark put his hands on his hips, he was proud of himself for sticking up, just like what they said.

"Ugh, fine.. Names intruder, and Gabriel said that I need you for something. Good enough?" Intruder said, glumly. "Mhm! But I still don't want to go with you." Mark smiled, and he came up with a good idea.

"Oh, but maybe you could stay here! We could have a sleepover, and you could also celebrate my birthday party with me! If you want to stay here for a week though, maybe you could sleep somewhere in my room.." Mark trailed off again, and everyone knew that Mark going off topic was completely normal.

Intruder sighed, and he stood up. "Look, let me just take care of your parents and then I will. Deal?" Intruder said, he knew what he was gonna do. "Oh, ok! Yea that's fine, i'll make a bed for you." Mark said.
