Cesar was.. on the ground. Six sneered. Both Six and Gabriel were happy.

Now, you may be wondering. "Why are they happy? What did they do to the favorite?!" They may or may not have turned him into an alternate. So now, he's double times worse than before.

Now we can actually continue with the story.

Mark set the photo down. "Hey, do you know where I can uhh.. get some sleep? I'm tired out from today.." He looks over at Dave.

"Huh? Oh, yea! You can use the spare bedroom. It's clean." Dave says. Mark nods in response, as he heads upstairs for the bedroom. It was true, he was tired out. And once he opened the door and shut it, he fell onto that bed for a nice rest. Mark curls up into the blankets, and soon falls asleep.

——

"I think it worked." Gabriel says, his raspy voice filling the static like void. Six nods, smirking. "I must agree. Now we just wait for him to wake up, right?" Six looks over at Gabriel. Gabriel looks down upon Six, and nods happily. "Well, we should leave him be." Gabriel reply's, soon walking away. Six stays there for a moment or two more, before finally following Gabriel.

"You sure he'll be alright?" Six asks, looking behind him with a tinge of worry in his voice.

"Haha! He'll be fine! There's nothing to worry about. And besides, if he wants Mark that bad, then he'll be better off this way, then a puny human."

"Yea, you're right. I'm just overreacting." Six chuckles, and continues walking, in silence between the two of the alternates.

——

"Mark~ wake up! Maaaaark..." It's a chilling voice, and it echos off the walls. Mark continues to walk through the right corridor, no direction, and no idea where or what this place is. "Cesar? Is.. Is that you?" Mark calls out, looking around, fearful.

"Mark, come out wherever you are!~ I won't hurt you.. I promise!~" The voice sounds as if it's begging. But.. but there's something else behind it. "Just shut up!" Mark yells back, rolling his eyes. "Oh, I see how it is. You want it the..ummm.." The voice pauses for a second. "Just come out already, i've been waiting like, 5 whole hours." The voice sounds tired, but also irritated. Mark stifled a laugh. "You're gonna give up that easily?" Mark laughs.

"No, I won't." The voice is right behind Mark. Right there, behind him.

——

Mark wakes up with a jolt, and a pant of fear. Mark looks around, and remembers he's in Dave's house. He sighs, and rubs his eyes, before getting out of bed to get a drink of water. The wooden floor creaks beneath him. Walking down the stairs carefully, to the kitchen.

He grabs a glass from the counter, fills it with tap water, and takes a sip, not even bothering about the taste. He sighs, looking around again. He sets the glass in his hands for the time being, and walks back up the wooden creaky stairs. He walks back towards his bedroom, and opens the bedroom door. He walks forward, places the cup down on a nightstand beside the bed, and lies back down.

"Who even was that?" Mark thinks to himself. He didn't even know what their intentions were.. or who they were either. Mark sighs, taking another sip of the tap water.
