Flower's Job

I trotted around a tree trunk sniffing for any interesting smells. Nothing interesting here I thought. I left and decided to go back home.

When I got home I dove into my den and sorted out the berries I had stored in a crevice. I have blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, pinkberries, and the rare ones yellowberries. I have so much more but there's so much that by the time I finish telling you it will be morning.

Blueberries are common, we usually eat those for dessert after the main course (meat), they can help you with bad fox breath too. 

Blackberries . . . those help you if you have an infection, crush it up, and smear some juice on the infection, and just wait. It'll just take about an hour to work.

Raspberries are the best, they help you with a little bit of everything. Sickness, if you're hungry, perfect for playing, they might be one of my favorite berries.

Pinkberries, ooh, those are fun, just smash and sprinkle a lil bit on your food and it will taste fantastic.

Yellowberries, the rare ones, only used when the queen has died and the berry collector becomes queen. They eat one for the ceremony. They are very rare and I couldn't even eat one or I would be driven out of my home into the wild. Well I do live in the wild but with a sculk. If I was driven out then I would be alone. 

There's a rumor that if you eat a yellowberry that you can get powers, but there is no proof that it works.

Did I forget to introduce myself? My name is Flower and I work for Queen Wildberry as the berry collector. I collect berries and use them to heal hurt foxes and especially give pinkberries to our cook.

I was appointed the day I was born and have been learning a lot since, but I'm not sure I want to be queen. I don't know why I'm so special, why can't I just be a regular fox? My parents said the moment the queen saw me that she knew I was the one to be chosen, and now I'm stuck being the berry collector.
