Ty Pov
When I got home I saw my mum on the couch talking with another girl. She was a medium height, she had black hair with brown highlights, and her eyes were a blackish brown. She had a pair of black jeans with a tang-top that is dark grey with a white angle wing in the middle. Also, she wore black and grey combat boots. I noticed that she was wearing a necklace with a cross and crystal on it, her arms had around ten bracelets on each, she wore a beanie that was blueish grey, and she had a skateboard that I had never seen before. She looked cool. Since i didn't want to ruin their conversation i just stayed by the door and waited. They talked for a couple minutes until my mum finally noticed me.

"Ty! I didn't know you were home. Come here." She sounds really happy.
"Uh... Mum... Who is this?" I motion to the girl standing next to her.
"That's what I want to talk about Ty." She motions me to come over.
I walk over slowly, "Sorry if I am being rude, but who are you?" I ask her.
"The names CJ, and don't worry about asking me questions I just want you to remember me...." She says trailing off.
"Why would you want me to remember you? Is this not the first time we have met?" I sit down on the couch.
"No, no this isn't the first time we have met Tyler" She sighed. "We actually grew up together."
"W-What? I lived here my whole life and I never had another person here, but my mum."
"Tyler... when you were three, our mum and dad got into a huge fight. They yelled, broke things, and even hit each other. Soon enough our mum finally thought that it was too much to handle and decided to leave. Before she left I gave you to her. I didn't want you to live with a monster" She finished.
I looked over to my mum, "Is this true mum?" She nods slowly.
"Wait. What happened to our dad?" I ask.
"In jail" She replied with no hesitation."When you guys left he started to get drunk a lot. Then he started to beat me. Lastly he killed two people. A mother and a son"
Our mum was shocked. She ran over to CJ and pulled up her shirt. Her stomach was covered in bruises and scars. My mum look so sad and angry at the same time.
Welp. Looks like I have a sister, I think. Or maybe she is a step sister. Eh, what eves. My dad is in jail for killing and abusing. And my mum... I don't know. She is just kind of there. I sat there thinking and thinking. Then finally I walk upstairs to go to bed. I lay in my bed and let the magical wonders of sleep take over me.

~The Next Day~
When I got to school, I went on looking for Tyler. I saw him leaning on a tree. I walk over to him.
"Hey Tyler" He looks up and gives a small smile.
"Hey Jason" He said. He seemed sad.
"You alright Tyler?" He doesn't respond. "Tyler?" I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Hi babe" Oh no. I turn to see Lilly, my ex girlfriend.
