A/N: almost forgot to mention that Gabi plays Eve in this lol
I'm currently on the jimmy fallon show and so far it's been good we've just been talking about my new movie that's coming out but then Jimmy brings up a sensitive topic.
"so Gabi now that the last episode of Killing Eve has been out for a while and we can finally talk about it I would love to hear your opinion I've heard that you didn't like the ending?" he says and I give him a look
"no I didn't like the ending at all," I say and he chuckles
"Can I ask why?"
"oh my god, you're going to make me cry, Jimmy. well, so first off when I first found out that Villanelle was going to die I literally broke down into tears."
"Really she's not even your character" he laughs and I chuckle
"I know but I just love her so much and I love Jodie so much and I loved working with her so much I didn't want it to end," I say and the audience cheers
"I think we all do," he says
"yeah," I say giggling
"well how was it filming the scene"
"oh my it was awful Jimmy"
"How so?"
"well when we were filming and she was about to be shot I cried and ruined the take and then when we took five I kinda had a breakdown and Jodie was so cute she was trying to comfort me and I was like 'I don't want you to die' and she was like 'im not dying Villanelle is' and then we laughed about it for a second and then I started crying again," I say starting to tear up "and then after we finally did the scene I couldn't stop crying I literally cried for like two hours and I was so tired after I fell asleep in Jodie's arms," I say and the audience says awwww
"That's adorable. okay, so I also wanted to talk to you about a video I saw of you saying that you both loved and hated the last episode could you maybe explain that more?"
"yeah sure I loved it because well you get to see them being a couple. we have loads of cute moments and we even had quite a few kissing scenes oh and my favourite moment where Jodie picks me up and spins me around that scene was so fun to film we did it three times because Jodie kept whispering in my ear after every take that we should do it again because it was so much fun" I say and by now a few tears are falling down my cheeks
"Okay so my last question before you have another breakdown is what was the worst part of the last episode?" he says and I laugh through tears and then think for a moment
"Well, obviously the fact that Villanelle died and the show ended and also wait before I say this I just wanna make sure everyone knows that I love the team that created killing eve and I think they did a fantastic job with it but I just feel like they could've took it so much further like they just killed the twelve but then Carolyn is still alive and obviously shes evil I mean she literally ordered the attack on villanelle and then said Jolly good like what an awful person. I could literally go on and on about that but ill save you all from my five-hour rant" I say and Jimmy laughs
"I'm guessing she's not your favourite character then?" he says
"Oh god no," I say and we both chuckle me still slightly teary
"Okay I know I said that was my last question but I have one more and we have just about enough time but I heard that you struggled a little with doing the online press for Killing Eve," he says
"yeah actually never mind my last answer that part was definitely the worst part. so because of covid, we couldn't do like in-person press so we had to do it over Zoom and yeah I found it really difficult to adjust as I'm pretty sure most of us did but what made it worse was that I couldn't see Jodie yeah we could see each other on zoom and we face timed but it just isn't the same as physically seeing her and being able to hug her you know and I haven't seen her in person since filming and I just miss her soo much and I really want to work with her again" I say and by this point, I'm bawling and we've almost run out of time so we quickly wrap up the interview
*a month Later*
I'm back on the Jimmy Fallon show and like before it's going great we're talking about the new movie that's just come out when Jimmy changes the conversation
"so last time you were on my show you were a bit emotional weren't you," he says and I nod
"yeah that was so embarrassing," I say
"no don't be embarrassed if anything I should be embarrassed for making Gabriella Winters cry," he says and we laugh and as I'm laughing a hear a familiar voice in my ear and I jump and stare over a Jimmy
" I missed you too my love," she says
"stop Jimmy you didn't," I say still not turning around he just nods so I turn around and there she is standing behind the sofa. I instantly jump up and run around the seat squealing her name then I jump into her arms securing my arms around her shoulders and my legs around her waist she catches me with a chuckle and puts her arms under me making sure I don't fall. when I finally lift my head from her neck we're both crying. I look at her and put my hands on each side of her face and she leans her face into my hand " your making me cry on tv again" I say and she laughs.
