a poem about continuity

for as long as humans were alive
there was love, society, conflict, death
the path continues
however with the same obstacles

stars will be birthed and die
the earth will keep on rotating around the sun
life will continue without you
however, everything continues
and everything repeats

that's the life we had no choice to accept
but i think that's what makes life so meaningful

the continuing of traditional values,
and yet the rejection of them
the wars, the corruption
thousands and thousands of years ahead
there may be no change

but we'll continue living
