"Koharu~"

Koharu looked up from the book she was reading. She was greeted by a pair of purple-green eyes in front of her face. Had she not been used to this girl's antics, that would have made her jump.

"Yes, Suzu?"

"Sensei wants to talk to us, come on!" Suzu held out a hand to her.

Koharu closed the book and put it into her bag. She stood up and nodded to Suzu. As they left the room, Hisame joined them. She had been waiting at the door.

"What does she want? Did she say?" Koharu questioned.

"I think we're getting our first mission!" Suzu said with a smile.

Hisame nodded along with Suzu's statement, "Yeah. I think we are."

"A mission..." Koharu repeated.

"I wonder what we'll have to do." Hisame said.

"Let's go see!" Suzu impatiently walked ahead of them, "Hurry up!"

Koharu and Hisame looked at each and shook their heads. They both smiled and quickly ran to catch up with Suzu.

"We're here, sensei!"

They entered into an office. Yakumo was at the desk. She glanced up as the three girls entered.

"That was fast." She commented.

"Suzu-san ran here." Hisame said, panting for breath.

"What are we doing, sensei?" Suzu asked.

Yakumo sighed, "So impatient..."

"We're getting a mission, right? I'm excited!"

"This isn't something to be excited about, Suzu."

"Aw..."

Yakumo took a deep breath, "Anyway, yes. You have been tasked with a mission. There is report of a low ranking demon wandering around the town. If you can succeed and kill them, you will be allowed to start going on missions more often. Otherwise you will go back to studying until they give you another chance."

"When do we leave? What do we need to prepare?" Koharu asked, cutting in before Suzu could start talking again.

"Tomorrow. I suggest researching this demon." Yakumo handed her a paper, "This is all the information I was given."

"Thank you, sensei. We won't fail."

"I hope not."

They left the room and started walking to the dorms. Suzu was talking their ears off about the mission. Hisame was humoring her. Koharu was staring at the paper, reading it over and over again. Did she know this demon? Would they recognize her when they met?

"Koharu-san? Hello?"

Koharu jumped as she was suddenly pinched. She looked over. Hisame was pouting at her.

"Y-yes?"

"Were you paying attention to a thing we just said?" Hisame asked.

"No. Sorry. I was reading the paper."

"As we were saying, what should we bring to kill this demon?" Hisame repeated.

"Well... it says stunning tools haven't worked on it so... just actual weapons." Koharu replied.
