When she got the news, her heart sank. Angels were looking for her. They had tracked down her location to this area. It would not be long before they might find her. What was she going to do?

Junna had locked herself in her room as she tried to think of what she could do. There were not that many options. And none of said options sounded very enticing to her.

Why was she their target? Well, Junna is an angel. An angel who did an unforgivable act. She killed two other angels. The ones who had practically raised her since she became an angel.

That was an unforgivable deed. One punishable by death. Junna was on the run. She had taken refuge on Earth in hopes it would be impossible to track her down. Unfortunately, that had always been too good to be true. They finally caught up to her.

"Junna-chan? Why is the door locked?" Nana was outside the room.

Junna didn't know what to say. She couldn't face any of them right now. Not with how she was reacting. They'd ask her why she looked panicked. She couldn't tell them. Or... could she?

They had been asked to keep an eye out for her. They never promised they'd work with them to capture her, though. Maybe she had a chance. Would they protect her?

"Junna-chan?"

Junna sighed and got off her bed. What did she honestly have to lose by telling them? And anyway, they were demon hunters, not angel hunters. They probably couldn't kill her if they tried. She would have time to run if things went south.

Junna unlocked the door and opened it. She silently retreated back to her bed. Now she had to figure out how to approach them about this topic.

"Are you okay?" Nana asked as she worriedly looked Junna over.

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Sure. What's bothering you?" Nana sat down next to Junna on her bed.

"You know about those angels... and how they're targeting another angel? I... I'm who they're after."

"You're an... angel?" Nana looked her up and down in confusion, "You look nothing like they described."

"Of course not. I couldn't look like my angel form. I'd have been caught years ago." Junna laughed dryly.

"Why are they after you?" Nana questioned.

They had not been told the details. All they were told was the angel was dangerous.

"I... killed some angels..."

"Why?"

"They... they didn't like me trying to join the Allegiance... and we fought a lot... but... it went too far one day..." Junna didn't want to talk about it that much. She hated remembering the sounds they made as they both took their last breaths. But, it was forever engrained in her mind. She couldn't escape it.

"I've heard about this Allegiance before, but what exactly is it?" Nana asked.

"It's a group of demons and angels who work together to stop bad ones from ruining the earth." Junna replied.

"Why would they be opposed to you joining it?" Nana was even more confused now.

Junna sighed, "Because even angels can be corrupt."

"Oh..."

"I don't know what to do. They'll find me before long... and they'll probably kill me on sight. I won't even get the chance to defend myself." Junna mumbled.

"We'll think of something." Nana promised.

"Do you think they'd help me if we told them?"

Nana pondered the question for a while. Some had seemed eager to go after the angel when they had been told about her. But, would they be eager to hurt her now since it was Junna and not some random angel? That wasn't something she could really answer.
