3rd POV:
Chris was in the office with Ms. Desjardin, Principal Morton, and her father.
John: This gym teacher was running Chrissie into the ground and used profanity. I believe the term "shitty" was used. She can't do that. It's abuse of power.
Chris: You're right, Daddy. That's what she said. "Shitty." She's really abusive.
Principal Morton: Ms. Desjardin was reprimanded for what happened in class today. But you know we've had a lot of problems with your daughter in the past. And now, with what she did to her classmate, Carrie White. The girl was having her... What your daughter and her posse-
John: Okay. I'm not going to sit here and listen to half-truths. I know my daughter. She said she didn't do it. I want her prom privileges restored. You can't prove she did anything, can you?
Ms. Desjardin: Well, I believe that there is a video of the incident. And I think your daughter is the one who took it. I think a video like that would probably be pretty damning to anyone in it and to the person who made it. Don't you, Mr. Hargensen? I don't know. I'm just a gym teacher, but it seems like a video like that would probably affect college admissions, possibly a lawsuit, tons of bad publicity. I wonder what The Today Show would do with a video like that. I think we should just look at her phone and if it's not there, I owe you a huge apology and she should be allowed to go to prom.
John: Chris.
The principal waited.
Chris: Daddy, I'm not going to give them my phone. I have personal things on here. Isn't that an invasion of privacy or something?
John: Chrissie, if you want to go to prom, just give them the damn phone and we can be done with this. I have to get back to work.
Chris: Dad.
John: Goddamn it, just give them your phone, Chris.
Chris: No.
Chris walked out of the office and the bell rang. She then joined the others.
Chris: So, I'm officially out of the prom. I bet that cocksucker Morton loses his job, though. My dad is suing him. Jesus, Sue, why didn't you stand up for me? We could have had them by the balls.
Sue: We deserve it for what we did to Carrie White and Y/N L/N. I thought I deserved it. Desjardin was right. We did a shitty thing for no reason.
Chris: Bullshit! That Carrie goes around saying that everyone but her and her mother and Y/N are going to hell, and you stuck up for them? Come on!
Sue: You could be such a pig sometimes, Chris. What did Carrie White and Y/N L/N ever do to you?
Chris: They've been begging for it since the sixth grade, Sue.
Sue: I got to go.
Chris: I seem to remember you were in there throwing shit with the rest of us. What was it that she was calling her? "Freak?"
Sue: I stopped.
Chris: Oh, you stopped?
Sue: Yeah.
Chris: Why did you keep running? Hmm?
Sue tried to walk off, but Chris blocked her.
Chris: Why did you keep running, Chris?
Sue: Stop it, Chris!
Chris: You kept running, Sue, little Suze, because you've been dreaming about Senior year and the perfect boyfriend and the perfect prom your whole goddamn life. you already booked the hotel, already practiced the sounds you're going to make when you and Tommy make love. That's why you had this bullshit change of heart. You don't give a shit about Carrie White or Y/N L/N. And everybody knows it.
Sue then walks off.
Chris: Okay. I'll see you around, Sue.
Y/N POV:
I arrived home and I put my backpack away and I sat down on my bed with the books I checked out in the library, and I decided to test my powers and I concentrated on lifting a book and soon after it started to float. I looked around and saw my old toys flying around me. I then heard footsteps and the objects were all put back and I grabbed my book and pretended to read. I then saw my mom come in.
Mom: Hi, sweetie.
"Hi mom."
Mom: What are you doing?
"Just reading for a project... Mom did you ever take Dad to prom?"
Mom: Well, it was the other way around. He asked me. Why?
My mom studied my face and smiled.
Mom: It's Carrie, isn't it?
"...Yes."
Mom: How are you going to ask her?
"The same way we've been speaking since we were little."
I ran outside and I grabbed a small pebble, and I threw it at Carrie's window.
3rd POV:
Carrie was in her room amazed at the books floating around when a pebble hit the window, and everything dropped. She then heard another one and she looked out and saw Y/N waving. He holds up a crumbled piece of paper and throws it into her yard. She opens the window and uses her powers to make the paper float into her room and she opens it and as soon as she finished reading it, she was blushing.
'Will you go to prom with me?'
She circled the answer and crumbled it back up and threw it back towards Y/N. He grabs it and he opens it, and he sees her answer.
'Will you go to prom with me?
Yes :)'
Y/N smiled, and Carrie heard her mom coming and she shut the window and pretended to sleep. Meanwhile Y/N went back upstairs happy that Carrie said yes...
