We spent two hours out on the canals through the empty streets of Venice and then walked back to his hotel instead of trying to find an Uber. It was nice out, the perfect night to walk the streets with nothing to do.
"Are you gonna ask me to come back up with you or am I going to have to beg?" I asked
"As hot as it would be to watch you beg," he grinned, looking me dead in the eye and making my knees go weak.
"Lead the way then, because I'm going to kiss you if you keep looking at me like that," I laughed.
"Let's go then," he grinned, kissing me on the cheek and leading me inside.
I could barely wait until we got into the elevator to have his lips all over mine. He pulled me in close as soon as the elevator doors closed and it was a free for all once again as we stumbled over each other and into the suite he was staying in, tripping over the end table outside the elevator in the dark.
"Well, well, well, look who decided to come back," a man's voice remarked, turning on the lights as we stumbled to the couch.
"Shit, Blake, you scared me," Logan remarked, pulling away.
"And who did you bring home?" He asked, eyeing me.
"Logan, are you kidding me right now?" Another guy around Logan's age exclaimed, coming out of one of the other rooms in the suite.
"Marcus, hey, why don't we also wake up Antonio and make this a real party?" Logan sighed.
"If I wake up Antonio he'll be pissed because you brought a random girl home," he replied.
"Hi Marcus, Blake," I said, sitting up on the couch.
"Oh, it's you," Blake laughed.
Blake was Logan's right hand man, his best friend and sidekick. His dad worked for Logan's dad and I was pretty sure Blake was Logan's sort of bodyguard security guy but they were so close that wasn't the relationship that they had. Marcus was another one of his childhood friends and was always with him, he was now one of his advisors. They usually tagged along on his jaunts around Europe, but Antonio was an actual adult, responsible adult. He was basically his babysitter his dad would occasionally send with him to keep an eye on him.
"Alright, I guess we'd be assholes to not let our best friend enjoy his last few hours of freedom," Marcus sighed.
"Which means we're going back to bed, don't be too stupid," Blake remarked, patting Logan on the back before going back to the room they were sharing.
"Well that killed the mood," I laughed.
"I think I know what might bring it back," he smirked, getting up from the couch and pulling me onto my feet and leading me back to his room and the bathroom en suite where there was a jacuzzi tub sitting in front of a window overlooking the water, "Unless you're afraid of getting a little wet?" He asked with a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth as he turned the water on.
"Never," I grinned, slipping off my shoes and unbuttoning my button up top.
By the time he opened the bottle of champagne that was in the fridge I had the water running in the jacuzzi tub and had stripped off my clothes.
"I've missed you," he said, handing me a glass as he got in the tub and sat behind me.
"I've missed you too," I said, "It sucks this is the last weekend we get."
"I know," he said, kissing my cheek as I took a drink, "And if it wouldn't have all gotten dumped on me a month ago I would've come sooner, taken you away for a week or two."
