"Go interrupt him," Anthony said, "Seriously, he checked out of the conversation five minutes ago."

"How am I supposed to interrupt without being a bitch?" I asked, "Cause I'm usually just a bitch but I can't be here."

"Go up and tap him on the shoulder and ask to interrupt, he won't say no," he laughed.

"Alright," I sighed, "Here goes nothing."

I said to myself as I walked to the other side of the dance floor and found Logan talking to one of the girls I had seen Jeanne talking to.

"It was awful, we had to take the helicopter over the jet and the turbulence was just terrible!" She exclaimed.

"I hate when that happens," Logan laughed.

"Excuse me, can I interrupt?" I asked.

"Of course," the girl said with the fakest smile on her face.

"Normally, I'd ask who I had the pleasure of being introduced to, so I'm not quite sure what a proper greeting would be tonight," he smiled, turning to me, making my knees go weak and my stomach flip inside of me.

"Well, I know who you are, so you're the only one in this predicament," I smiled as music started to play.

"Would you do me the honor of having the first dance of the evening?" He asked, a sparkle in his eye as he reached for my hand.

"The honor is mine," I smiled, taking his hand and letting him lead me out to the dance floor, "I have to admit, my waltzing skills are a bit rusty," I laughed.

"Don't worry, it starts out slow, just follow my lead," he smiled, his hand wrapped over mine and the other at my back as my skin tingled to his touch even through the fabric of my gloves and dress, "Got the hang of it?"

"I think so," I smiled, noting that all of the girls had their eyes glued to Logan and me.

"Don't look at everyone else," he said, "You're new here, you aren't from here. They're jealous that a beautiful stranger got the first dance."

"You're correct, I guess it's obvious," I laughed nervously.

"So, I know the rules of this little game so I know that I can ask you questions about yourself that are yes and no answers," he smiled, "So, have we met?"

"Yes," I smiled.

"In the last year?" He asked.

"No," I replied, "But you've seen me in the last year if I'm allowed to say that."

"Well, then I guess I'm going to think about all of the beautiful green-eyed brunettes I've known when this thing is over and I have to figure out who you are," he laughed as the song ended.

"And I for one can't wait until you figure it out," I smiled.

"Me neither," he smiled.

I walked off happily, letting the next girl in line make her way to Logan as I went back to find a drink.

"So, you got your face time with Logan," Blake remarked as I stood by the bar watching everyone else.

"That I did," I smiled.

"I assume he didn't figure it out," he laughed.

"He did not," I smiled, watching him across the crowded ballroom.

"You know, there's this spot in the gardens outside the west wing of the palace, it's his favorite spot, he goes out there every night," he remarked, "Usually, I hang with him, we talk about whatever, and then turn in, especially after events like this."
