She will be very shaken up but that will pass, she has had some strong pain killers so she may be a bit zoned out until they wear off but after that allow her to take one of these every six hours to help with the pain. She may also experience some nausea but don't worry this is quite common for a patient suffering from a concussion, so you don't need to worry."
"Can I see her?"
"Not just yet but I will let you know as soon as you can. In the mean time I need to ask some questions about Elizabeth."
"Er... ok." Nat said awkwardly.
"Great so first question, what is Elizabeth's full name?"
"Umm... Jones, Elizabeth Jones."
"Date of birth?"
"I- I don't know."
"Relation?"
"Excuse me?"
"Are you released to miss Jones?"
"Oh no, no."
"Ok, do you have a contact number for her parents, miss?"
"Romanoff and no I don't." Nat said with worry in her voice. "I just need to make sure she it ok, I need to see her."
"You can see her in a minute, miss Romanoff but I am afraid we are going to have to call the police as this is an unnatural injury. Can you explain to me what exactly happened for Elizabeth to receive such a deep cut on her head?"
"I don't have to tell you that." Nat said and stormed off down the hallways  of the hospital.

I was sat in a children's waiting room with a small patch of cotton taped over my head and a smaller cut on my eyebrow below it and plastic cup full of water. I didn't know where my bag or glasses were. Well actually, I didn't know where anything was, I don't remember arriving at the hospital or where my dad went or Nat or Steve. I was alone... again.
My head pounded and the room swayed side to side, I felt dizzy and could hardly stand. I stared on the wall in front of me trying to make my eyes focus but it was no hope, everything was fucked up, big time. My ears would ring every now and then and my hearing would warp for example, nurses would walk past me whilst talking to someone and they sounded as if they were muffled or in another room. I had been given some strong painkillers that made me space out more that befor (which was a lot anyway.)
I sat with one hand gripped to the plastic chair I sat on and the other hugged round my knees that were pulled up into my chest. I had no recollection of time or reality. I'm pretty sure I was hallucinating at one point. I could hear stomping from the hallway but I wasn't sure if it was my head throbbing or someone walking loudly. The sound got louder until a blurred figure ran through the open doors and stopped, looking at me. They were all blurry, there long red hair sat on their shoulders and there shirt was moving in the breeze. They had a bag in there hand that was dark brown and in their other hand was some thing small that I couldn't quite make out. They came closer and squatted down in front of me slowly, there face was still blurred but I knew who it was. She put the bag down and unfolded the metal framing in her hand and carefully placed them onto my face. My vision improved, it was still fuzzy and fucked up but it was slightly better. The right lens was cracked and the hinge was taped up with what looked like a bit of duck tape.
"Are you okay?"
Nat... thank god! She had a concerned look on her face. "Th- think so..."
"Steve is out right now trying to find your dad-"
"I don't want him to know! Nat he can't... I cant-"
I sat up in my chair distressed. Nat placed her hands on the tops of my arms and I tended up.
"It's fine kid, I won't let him touch you." Her voice was fierce and strong, she looked into my eyes and saw tears began to form. She pulled me into a tight hug and I froze.
"W-what are you... doing?" I stuttered.
"Hugging you."
I was tensed up but my heart rate steady and Nat loosed her grip but not enough for me to get out.
"I'm not letting go until you accept it." She said.
I slowly and reluctantly pulled my arms out and wrapped them around her, she lifted her arms higher up my back and held me tighter. I slowly melted into her arms and rested my chin on her shoulder. Tears fell from my eyes but not because I was sad, because I was over joyed to have someone in my life again that cared for me. We remained like this for only a minute or so but it felt like forever and I loved it.
"Elizabeth Jones? The doctor wants to check up on you then we will need to ask you some questions about your injury." Interrupted a nurse.
I let go of Nat but she still held my shoulders, I looked at her with panic, what questions? Am I in trouble?
The nurse turned to Natasha, "you can come with her if you like."
Nat looked back at me, apathetic as always, "do you want me to,? It's ok I you don't."
"No! No... I- I do, please."
"The doctor will be in room 16 F" the nurse said then walked off.
Nat stood up and had my backpack that she flung on her back and held her hand out for me to grab. "I can't stand up." I laughed "I'm going to either fall or threw up."
"Right... " Nat said with a smile. She dropped my bag and squatted down with her back to me and her arms out. I laughed and she gave me a piggy back to the doctors office. It made my head throb and I felt sick but I didn't mind.
