Chapter 4
He slowly begins walking towards me. His eyes stay glued to me the whole time. For a moment, it feels as if it's only us that exist right now.
"Amethyst, is that.. Is that you?" He stutters out.
"Daddy?"
He nods and pulls me in close. His arms wrap strongly around my body and I feel safe. I never want to let go. He's the missing piece of my puzzle. He rests his chin on my head and I smile into his chest. I know that this is where I belong.
I look up and study his features. We're very similar in looks, we've got the same shaped lips, the same thick hair and the same big brown eyes.
A tear rolls down my cheek.
"It's okay now darling, I'm here for you" he whispers while gently wiping away my tears. He takes my hand in his and we make our way outside to his-our- car. He runs around to the passenger seat and opens the door for me. I giggle and take a seat. Soon after, he's running back around the car towards the drivers seat and sits next to me.
"Amethyst, my beautiful daughter! I'm so glad you're home darling, i missed you so much" he tells me.
"Me too, I can't say I remember much about being here but I do know that this is where I belong."

Hey guys :) sorry this chapter is so short but there's more to it and the chapter was gonna be super long so I decided to split it up into two parts. I've got the next part written and it just needs editing so that'll be on here soon! I'm so glad that Vic and Amy are finally together again 🐢
