2 months later...
"Hey babe?" I turn and see Raven.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Do you have anything fancy to wear?"
"Yes?" I say in more of a question.
"Great, put it on and get ready."
"Whyyyy?" I asked, confused.
"Just shut up and get ready."
"Don't tell a pregnant woman to shut up and get ready."
"Okay, Okay, Okay... sorry."
"Get out so I can get ready."
"Okay," Raven laughs, "Love you."
"I don't." I chuckle, as he leaves and I go into the closet.
I put on a cream off the shoulder dress. The sleeves are puffy and the dress stops at my mid thigh. The dress fit very nicely around my stomach. I put a pale pink bandana around my head. I put on some jewelry and grab my phone.
"BABE!" I yell.
"What's up?" Raven asks.
"I can't put the shoes on." I whine.
"I'll help you." He says, grabbing the cream converse high tops from me. I sit down as he puts the shoes on and ties the laces.
"All done."
"Thank you." I say, as he helps me stand up, "So why did I have to get ready?"
"I can't say."
"Raven." I say, "Tell me right now."
"Your sister is throwing a baby shower for you."
"Oh, okay." I say.
"Come on, the kids are already there."
"Why? How?"
"Don't worry." He chuckles, as he grabs my hand, "Let's go."
"Okay, don't rush me. I am eight months pregnant." I say, as I feel a huge kick.
"Honey you okay?"
"Fine, Fine." I say, as another huge kick happens, "Just moving a lo- ouch." I bend over, as I take a deep breath.
"Honey, you are not okay."
"I'm fine, I'm fine." I say, as I feel something, "Oh god."
"What?"
"I think, ow," I whine, "I think my water just broke."
"Are you serious?"
"No Einstein, I'm not." I say, as more pain hits, "What are you doing standing there? Vamos Amigos."
"Okay, okay. Stay here, I'll get the togo bag and call Sadie or call Nova."
"Not enough time, call the pack doctor."
"What do you mean?"
"I FEEL THE BABY COMING NOW!" I scream.
"Oh sh- Okay," He pulls out his phone and dials a number, "Hello, I need Doctor Carmen to my house right now. My mate is having our baby and I can't risk running her to the pack doctor."
"Well?" I whimper.
"Hold on," He mutters, "Hello Doctor Carmen. Yes, she says she feels it. Mmmhmm. Okay. Okay. Mmhmm. Okay. See you in five." He hangs up.
"Well?"
"She will be here in five minutes," He runs into the closet and comes back with one of his button up tee shirts, "She says put this on and lay down in bed."
