Chapter 6

I stumbled with Raven out of the restaurant–feeling quite dizzy, since I had about four glasses of wine, maybe five.

"I am calling your mother." Raven says, as he has me sit down as I groan, I watch him dial a number, "Hello Mrs. Hart. Umm your daughter had a little too much to drink. I thought it would be best to let her stay the night." I see him hum in response, "I promise no funny business. Alright, have a great night... see you tomorrow morning." Then he hangs up.

"So?" I hiccup.

"Come on, let's head up to my room." He says, as he helps me up.

"Alright." I say, as he leads me to the elevator and towards his room.

"Here is a shirt and shorts, the bathroom is right there." Raven says.

"Thanks." I muttered, tanking his clothes and went into the bathroom. I take my dress off and slide on the shirt and shorts–which were a few sizes too big. I sigh, leaving my hair down, as I stalk into the hotel room, where I see Raven with just his boxers on, and chilling on the couch.

"Where do I sleep?" I ask, in tears.

"What's wrong?" He asks, getting up and hugging me.

"I feel so bad."

"Don't." He says, pulling away and looking at me.

"I've always been broken." I whisper.

"You're not."

"YOU DON'T KNOW ME!" I scream, pushing him away.

"What does that mean?" Raven asks.

"Doesn't matter." I mutter, grabbing my dress and heels.

"Where are you going?"

"Anywhere but here." I mutter, as I open the hotel room and run away.

I walked into our rental home, wiping tears that still came down my face. I go into the kitchen and open the fridge, finding an ice cold bottle of water. I drop my dress and shoes and quickly chug the drink, as I hear footsteps.

"Why are you home?" I turn and see my mother.

"I just wanted to be home." I mutter, picking up my clothes, "Goodnight."

"Honey, your eyes are red, where are you crying?"

"Yeah." I mutter, "But it doesn't matter."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Mom asks.

"I'm a broken whatever the hell I am."

"Honey, we've said this hundreds of times, you are not broken."

"You only know what you've seen." I mutter.

"What does that mean?" Mom asks, as I stay silent, "Willow."

"I think I will go to my room." I say, before walking out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I go into my room and see Nova's bed was empty. Matter of fact, I didn't even hear my brothers or dad. I take a deep breath before going over to my carry on bag, and reaching into it, pulling out my diary and pen. I sit down on my bed and open it, writing an entry.
