Ch. 2

                                                             Neko POV 

The boys had me sitting on the high counter. As the boy with the grey hair tried getting the collar off my neck I breathed in taking in their smell. They didn't come off as threatening My tail and ears may be suppressed at the moment because of the collar by my senses are still in tact. 

"I guess we should introduce our selves in return we would like to know your name." The one with the grey hair said 

I nodded 

"I am Ruki." He said as he continued trying to get the painful collar off. 

"I'm Kou, Nice to meet you." Kou said with a smile 

"I'm Azusa." The one with the bandages said 

"And I'm Yuma." The more bulky one said 

I tried to talk but still nothing would come out. Not even a sound. 

"Oh right our apologies here write your name down." Ruki said handing me a tablet and a pen. 

"I'm Neko." I wrote down

"Awww that's such a cute name!" Kou yelled 

"Kou calm down." Yuma said grabbing him by the back of the shirt 

And finally I hear the sound I've been waiting for the click of Ruki finally unlocking the collar but as soon as Ruki opened the collar and removing it blood started to flow down my neck for the punctures the collar made. 

Ruki quickly covered the punctures with his hand. 

"Someone get the first aid kit quickly." He said in a rather calm voice 

Next thing I know is that I was getting a tad woozy. losing so much blood wasn't sitting well. Yuma appeared next to Ruki with the first aid kit. and put gauze on my neck then wrapped bandaging around my entire neck. 

Then he started tending to my other injuries but I was so out of sorts I couldn't quite make out what any of them were saying. Then suddenly the room started spinning and everything went black. 

                                          Kou POV 

We were fixing Neko up finishing patching up her wounds when she suddenly collapsed Ruki caught her before she could fall and hit the ground. 

"What do we do!?" I asked 

"Calm down she's probably weak from the blood loss. Humans don't exactly heal like us." Ruki said 

"Who the hell would do such a thing to a kid!?" Yuma said 

"Humans can be cruel. we each experienced that." Ruki said 

We all nodded 

"We'll give her shelter tonight but tomorrow she has to leave. A human has no place among vampires." Ruki said 

"You can't be serious she's just a kid!" Yuma yelled 

I nodded with him. 

"It's not our place." He said 

"Don't tell me you don't remember what it was like to be helpless and on your own. That's probably how she's feeling." I said 

"I remember every day she doesn't belong with us." Ruki said 

"At least let her stay until she heals." Yuma said 

Ruki sighed 

"Fine until she heals but that's as long as she can stay." Ruki said walking up the stairs to one of the bedrooms.
