Meet the characters!

Name: Anne Silver (Anne the Dicer)
Species: Human
Age: 27
Appearance: Anne has messy blonde hair, blue eyes, and is a bit on the shorter side with strong arms and legs. She has a scar on her left cheek and is usually wearing brown pants, a simple white shirt, and a coat.
Occupation: Former pirate captain/rogue. Leader of the group
Equipment: Twin daggers embedded with the jewels of swiftness, standard pirates blade, travelers pack.
Background: Anne was a wealthy merchants daughters who sailed around the continent on his luxury ship, that was until they were boarded by pirates one day. She impressed them with her sarcastic nature and quick temper so they decided to make her part of the crew, where she quickly rose to Captain after a number of years.

Things weren't all they seemed though, most of her crew resented having a woman has a captain and they left her on a dock at the nearest coastal city before sailing off to find adventure, from there she drank herself into oblivion for three days before finding the local adventurers guild. She's been trekking across the continent with her group ever since.

Name: Norvik Ashfinder (Norvik the Scholar)
Species: Human
Age: 25
Appearance: Norvik is a tall bulky man with tan skin and big brown eyes, he has shoulder length black hair that's usually up in a bun and typically has stubble along his chin and jaw. He wears gold framed glasses, a blue and gold robe, complete with hood, and is usually hunched over like a turtle.
Occupation: Scholar/sub-par sorcerer
Resident "keeper of knowledge"
Equipment: Enchanted quill, standard paper, explosive potions, scholars satchel, enchanted ringlets of Garrowsfield
Background: Norvik comes from a long line of sorcerers who work for the Duke of Garrowsfield, but the magic in his bloodline seems to be dwindling because he's really not that good. He can do a few simple spells, has never been great at summoning rain, and usually any potions he makes end up being explosive, but for what he lacks in the magic department, he really is a gifted scholar. He's fascinated by this magical realm he lives in and has spent many nights tucked away in the Dukes library instead of doing his duties. That was what got him in trouble, and when the Duke threatened to kill him his mother gave him the family heirloom and sent him off into the night with a small bag of gems.

He wandered into the next town where he found Anne at a tavern with an Orc, a tree guardian, an elf, and a half-breed. He was recruited not long after that and he's been with the group ever since, and is always wondering why he ever agreed to join them.

Rhonda Skullcrusher (Big Rhonda)
Species: Orc
Age: 32
Appearance: Rhonda is an 8 foot tall green skinned woman with shaggy dark red hair usually pulled back into a ponytail. She has joyful yellow eyes and slightly protruding bottom teeth, she wears a leather armor top with an knee length leather skirt and black leggings. She has an iron arm guard on her right arm.
Occupation: Barbarian

Equipment: Orcish shield, battle axe, caste of water
Background: Rhonda has known that she wanted to be an adventurer since she was a young orc just learning to catch her first wolf, and when she was old enough she said goodbye to her family and headed off to find her own group. It took a long time, orcs are usually seen as destructive and a lot of people didn't want to work with her so she set up an armor stand in the small village of Pebblefalls and posted an ad on their town board. It took 3 years but eventually someone responded, a funny little human dressed like a pirate with her half-breed friend. She's been with them since and has throughly enjoyed her time with them.

Archer (Archer/Myrin)
Species: Elf
Age: ???
Appearance: Myrin is light and lean with pale skin and long dark hair, he has light gray eyes and his face is usually covered by a dark hood. He wears black assassins gear which includes a skin tight black shirt and pants.
Occupation: Former assassin of the faction of the Night Elves, Follows the group around as extra help
Equipment: Cloak of the shadow walkers, huntsman's bow, traditional elvish bow staff, poison darts, elvish kit of healing
Background: Myrin is a very secretive elf who tends to keep his name private, he was an assassin for a number of years before certain decisions caused him to break off from the group and find his own path. He was a pick pocket for a brief period of time, and even tried going home to the realm of elves but he was not accepted back in since he'd turned to a life of crime so he decided he was better off without them. He met the group later on, before Norvik joined, and just sort of started to follow them around. It's unclear what his intentions are and he tends to disappear for long periods of time.

June Bug Jones (Princess)
Species: Woodland guardian, also known as Treefolk or Woodspirits
Age: 50 (young adult for her species)
Appearance: June Bug appears to be made entirely out of wood, with a flowering bush for hair. She resembles a human in build and facial shape but has no eyes, only glowing green orbs where eyes should be. She has all kinds of sprouts sticking out where her joints are and is usually wearing a dress made out of woven leaves.
Occupation: Moral booster and resident animal expert, also their navigator. Former guardian of The Gibnora Forest.
Equipment: The ever changing map of the forests of Lynn, a wooden flute, and a simple merchants bag
Background: June Bug is part of a very rare species that only appears along the outer edge of the Gibnora forest, they are known by many names and serve only one purpose, to guard Gibnoras secrets and judge those who would want to enter the magical forest. They stand in long lines around the edge with their "legs" rooted into the ground and spears in their hands. It's a very silent way of life and they often spend months just standing there, waiting. This got very boring for June, who got out after she convinced a farming passing by to cut at her roots and let her go. Her magical abilities are weaker away from the forest but she doesn't care! She wanted to have the full "human" experience, including giving herself a name and eating food.

It turned out that she couldn't really eat but she did give herself a name, one that Anne thought was very strange when she met her. June Bug is very naive and doesn't have a great grasp of life outside her duties but shes always willing to learn and no one can bring themselves to tell her she should probably go back home.

Smith (Smithy)
Species: Half-demon
Age: 25
Appearance: Smith is a 6'2 half demon with short black hair and blue skin, he looks human other then that, aside from the sharp teeth and horns, and usually wears a colorful red and purple vest over a white shirt with black pants and entertainers boots complete with little bells (that were chopped off by Anne). He has green eyes and a scar on his right palm from a blood oath.
Occupation: Acrobat and master thief, also a major league dumbass
Equipment: Short sword, sneezing powder, lock picks, hair oil, and a burlap pack
Background: The child of a human farmer and a succubus, Smith was pretty much doomed from the start. His father quickly wanted nothing to do with him, since he was already married and Smith wasn't exactly human looking, so he left him in the care of his mother who immediately dumped him off at a children's home and went off to who knows where. That was where Smith grew up, with no parents to speak of and an old woman named Martha who already had too many children to handle. He struggled for the first few years of his life and was constantly getting in trouble, to the point where he was eventually kicked out when he was 16. This bothered him for a long time until he joined the circus the next year at 17 and became an acrobat.

The working conditions weren't ideal but the pay was decent and he got two square meals a day so he couldn't complain. On months he was short he'd go out and steal what he could, and since the circus was always traveling around he never got caught. This life quickly became boring to him though and decided to go for classes at a local adventures guild one day, which was where he met Anne. The two agreed to form their own group together and he left the circus to go with her. He doesn't regret it one bit.
