Secrets

Eda and raine were hanging out together as usual, although sometimes it doesn't seem like they just hang out. "Raine I'm telling you, that can't be it" eda said holding up her phone. "Edaa Tonga is a country" Raine said. "I refuse. It has to be some kind of city" eda said shaking her head. "This is why you failed history" Raine teased, and the two started laughing. "Woww how dare you, I thought we were friends" eda said said playfully

Friends.. Just friends...
"Calamity, we are friends but you need a geography lesson".  " hey, the second we. Left collage geography means jack-shit to me" eda said putting her arm over the top of the part if the couch she was sitting on while leaning back. "Eda, you never cared about geography" Raine said with a crooked smile.  "Percicliy!" Eda said dramatically.  Making Raine laugh.  This was how they were, a seemingly honest friendship of the ages, if only the feelings they kept secret, with millions of keys locking them away... But feelings like that make it hard just to think of someone as just a friend, regardless of the amount of denial, eventually those feelings make an escape, and bubble to the surface. After a while it got cold at night, due to winter. "Damn.. Its actually getting cold" eda said started to breath heavy. "And yet you decided to wear and crop top and jeans?"    Raine said playfully rolling their eyes. "Oh shush, I look great and you know it" eda said dramatically flipping her hair. "Humility,calamity?" Raine said with a smile while a small blush creeping up if their cheeks. "Nope.none" eda said while subtly winking at them. Making Raines blush grow and a light pink one appearing on eda. Raine shook their head then got up. They went into their room, then came back out with a red hoodie with black music notes on it. "Here, put this on" they said handing it to her. "I.. Uhh.. Okay.. " eda said nervously, taking the hoodie and slipping it on. "Better?" Raine asked with a teasing look in their eye.  ".... Maybe" eda mumbles not wanting to admit it. "Mhm, you like it" Raine teased. "I. Never said that" eda said turning her head away from them. In return Raine took hold of her hips and put her on their lap. "H-hey!! No! Raine why!" Eda playfully complained, regardless of the fact she knew she enjoyed when they did such a thing, on a regular basis. "Because I can, and besides your lighter than air" rairn teased. "Your so dramatic rainestorm, nobody can weigh just air, let alone lighter than it" eda said putting her hand on Raine shoulder. "Well my Lord calamity is full of surprises, I wouldn't be surprised  if you could do it" Raine said now having to look up at her, more than usual.  That's new statement had eda completely red in the cheeks. "Y-yours?.." Eda asked visibly flustered, to all but Raine. "I.. I mean.. Umm m-my best friend! Ya know?.." Raine asked pathetically and desperately lying not avoid looking stupid although that ship sailed years ago.  "O-oh.. Uh.. Yeah! Totally.. Totally" eda said with a smile trying not to look disappointed.  "W-why? Do you WANT to be mine?" Raine asked with a spark of hope. "Y-you wish!  I bet you dream about me" eda said slightly looking down at them, but not completely showing the small smile and heavy blush on her face.  "That's for me to know" Raine mumbled although eda heard it and decided to mess with them. "I knew it, nobody can resist my unbeatable charm" eda said adjusting herself on Raines lap. Which made eda appear to be shorter than Raine, as they now have to look down to look her in the eyes. "W-well last time a checked your single, so where's that so called charm?"  Raine asked Leaning slightly closer to her. By now eda lost every ounce of confidence in her body, she pushed Raines face away and face planted into the couch, with her legs folded. Causing Raine to start laughing. "Awh, I was just teasing, calamity" Raine said as they started to stroke her hair. Eda just put the hood over her head. "Shoo!" She yelled, that was muffled by the coushin.

Or so she thought.  Raine then pulled off her hood, and pulled her closer to them, ending with her head on their lap. No it was impossible for eda to hide her smile. "Come onnn.. Im just messing with you"  Raine said with a kind smile, which helped eda calm down. "Yeah.. I know" eda chuckled.   Then closed her eyes. "You tired?" Raine asked. "Nah, just comfortable" eda said with a soft smile. Then looked at her phone. "Shit... I should go its getting late" eda mumbled. "But I really don't want to... " Raine happen to hear her  and smiled. "I mean.. You could stay here" Raine said avoiding her gaze. Causing both to go red. "Ah.. Well umm ya know.. Week nights.. " eda said slightly sitting up.  "O-oh! Yeah right I totally forgot"     "time flies when your as awesome as me" eda Braggs.   Then stands up with her hands behind her back.   "Catch ya later rainestorm"  eda says before heading for the door. "Yeah.. Later" Raine mumbles. As eda leaves Raine mumbles under their breath. "Love you.. " knowing good and well she couldn't hear them, just as eda entered her apartment, she realises she still has on Raines hoodie.   She smiles and sort of snuggles into it.  Starting to feel her cheeks heat up.   Then hears a knock on her door. She waits a few moments in case it's Raine she doesn't want them thinking she desperate, although a part of her is. She opens the door but it's her sister. "Hey lily, what's up?" Eda says letting her in. "Hello edalyn" lilith says as eda rolls her eyes due to such proper language, especially from her sister.  "Um.. Our parents recently got more modern technology.. So uh" lilith said trying to find the right words.  "Ah shit.. " eda says already knowing what  she ment. "Watch your mouth" lilith says then getting flicked off by eda. "I just wanted to let you know"   "why didn't you just call me?" Eda asks. "Because I knew your were probably with Raine.. And now I see I'm right" eda goes a little red. "What makes you say that?" Eda says. "Your wearing their clothes" lilith says rolling her eyes. "No proof! Fuck off" eda says turning away from her sister who's obviously right. "Mhm, do you own anything with music notes o  it?" Lilith asked. " umm.. Okay fine, get off my back"  eda finally admits. I haven't even touch the surface of your back" Lilith says crossing her arms, as eda flips the hood on her arms. "Why cant you just tell them how you feel?! It's fairly simple" eda sits in a random chair. "Oh shut up, you get no bitches" eda says resorting to petty Insults. "Apparently neither can you, you've been hiding this for years! Something is going to happen eventually" Lilith says. "Go awayyy" eda groans. "Then just tell them"    "no" eda days Blantnly. "We're just friends! Nothing more! Nothing less" eda says taking the hood off her head. "Mhm, youve been saying that for years"   "and it's been true for years!" Eda shot back. "Right.. So your random photo album of just Raine means your just friends?" Lilith asks raising an eyebrow. "I.. How do you k ow about that!?" Eda asks. "Your password is Raines birthday"   eda turns red then just pace plants into her table. "Ughhh!!! I'm pathetic.. Arnt I... " eda mumbles. "No, just love sick" Lilith says with a smile. "They don't love me like that lily... And I don't want to loose them as a friend" Lilith rolls her eyes. "Righttt.... Mhm let's go with that, all I'm saying is you two are going to end up doing something stupid and put yourself in a situation where your forced to tell them your feelings, so you should do it before that happens" Lilith said leaning over the counter eda has her face planted in. "Can I take that first option?" She asks. "I mean.. I don't see why not.. But knowing you it might be really, extremely, unbelievably, undeniably stupid" Lilith says half joking making eda laugh. "Yeah... Your right... Maybe when the time is right" eda sighs. "I mean it's been about a decade... How much longer are you going to take?" Lilith asks. "All of eternity" eda says dramatically. Causing both sisters to break out in giggles. "Can you really keep it a secret for that long?" Lilith asks. "Hey, I can do anything" eda says starting to cheer up. "If you say so, but if you finally do tell them.. Don't get married to fast" Lilith jokes. "I never said I wanted to marry them" eda says as she turns red. "I saw your vision board under your bed"  eda sighs again. "Get out"  eda says glaring at her. "Fine.. Fine.. " Lilith says leaving. Little did eda k ow.. That's stupid situation would be comming sooner than she thought
