Tessa's p.o.v

Bell is about to ring in 12 minutes. Finally the day is getting over. I can't wait to go home. It has been such an eventful day! Who would have thought a first day could be so entertaining. And its only Tuesday, I have to wait 3 more days for the weekend. I mentally sigh at that thought.I went to my locker to put my stuff away and get all the books I would need for my homework. Yeah, we got homework on the first day of school. Bummer I know!

The bell rung 10 mins ago and the halls are already so secluded. I headed to my car after saying goodbye to Cam and Elle.

Someone's following me....? I turn around and see no one. Again I start walking, I hear footsteps. There are barely any cars in the parking lot; almost everyone's gone home so who could it possibly be. There are people but they either have soccer training or are chilling in the lot or in the library finishing work or something.

Maybe I am just hallucinating... I thought

I pulled my car in the driveway. I turn off the ignition and got out. I put the keys for the house lock and unlock the house door and head straight to my room. Regina wasn't home. If your wondering who Regina is she is our house help/nanny- not that I need one

but my mom feels we do. Maybe Ele not john and I, but mums are always mums.

Regina takes care of Elena and I mostly, and also john that's when he comes, or she takes care of us when mum and dad aren't around. Mom and dad are very busy, most of the times they are on business trips halfway across the world .It was only Regina, Ele and I living here.I was home alone most of the times with Reg, as john is in his last year of uni and only comes over for holidays and Elena is at our aunts place for now and she is probably going to come back home next week. She is having a sleepover- well many- with our younger cousins.

Regina brings her daughter at times. Her daughter's name is Vanessa. Right now Regina had to go back to her town because Vanessa is admitted in the hospital. She is suffering from cancer. I pray that she gets well as soon as possible and I know she is a fighter and she won't give up the battle with herself.

I quickly freshen up and change into a pair of black yoga pants and a cartoon v-necked long tee. After that I went downstairs to the kitchen and got myself a packet of crisps and hot chocolate. I ate my snack while watching T.V. After I was done I went up and did some homework I had left. Then after finishing everything i got bored and decided I would play music and just paint my nails.

My window curtain was open and I went to shut both the curtain and the window, I could see the lights on in the next house besides ours. That meant we got a new neighbour. 'Yay! After what? 1 year' I smirked. 'Well at least I'm glad we got company y'know. I mean who doesn't like company huh?' I thought

We got them 3 days ago. I have not met them as of now but hopefully they are friendly.

I noticed that the room opposite from mine had its window open with the music blasting so loudly for all the 3 days that the person was here. Since this is like the country side we only had a few houses here and there.
