Chapter 13

Tessa's P.O.V

He pulled me to his chest and his hands gently grasped my wrist as he moved my left hand and interlaced our fingers and he placed my right hand on his strong shoulder before he wrapped his free hand around my waist, pulling me closer.

He started humming a soft tune that I didn't quite recognise and moved us along slowly to the beat of the tune. His gaze was locked on mine. I felt safe and calm in his arms for some unknown reason. The way he held me was so... so comforting.

He stopped dancing after a few minutes and looked at me tenderly. We stood frozen in our spots. The only sound being was the wind whooshing in the cold night air.

"Will you go out with me?" he asked with a hopeful voice almost sounding un sure and scared of my rejection.

This was the sweetest way a guy has ever asked me out though. Sweet and simple. I have never been asked out but that is besides the point, I had decided that this year would be full of adventures and I would try new things so of course I could not say no to him after his sweet gesture.

"Yes I will go out with you." I smiled and blushed deeply.

His eyes lightened up and he gave me a huge grin straight from his heart.

"Awesome! I will pick you up at 7 on Friday." He said cheerfully.

"Sounds good. Goodnight."

"Night darling." He kissed my cheek and let go of me.

I turned and happily skipped back to my house.

I entered the house and walked straight to the kitchen all the while humming happily. I opened the fridge and looked for something to eat.

"You seem happy!" Regina commented entering the kitchen and giving me a curious look.

"I got myself a date this Friday night." I cheered.

Regina gave me an amused smile at my excitement that made me blush a deep red color.

"Well, who is the lucky guy?" She wiggled her eyebrows and giggled like a teenager waiting for the juicy gossip.

"Our next door neighbour."

"The kid who picked you up?" I nodded in response. "Hm. He seems like a pretty decent guy and he's got the looks too." She winked.

I grabbed a Hershey's chocolate bar and quickly said goodnight and headed to my room before Regina would ask me something embarrassing.

I showered and changed into something comfortable.

I lay in bed and replayed the events of tonight, without warning a huge smile made its way on my face. I heard some sounds coming from the backyard. I got up and saw no one but Gab down in their lawn. He was working out and obviously didn't have a shirt or anything covering his abdomen. His back was remarkable. I just couldn't take my eyes off him. Who knew behind that t-shirt was such exquisiteness. I could probably spend hours just staring. The way those muscles contract and relax every time he does push-ups or when his stretching is just so fascinating. I was practically drooling by now.

'Do you need a napkin for that drool' my sunconcious mind barged in on my thoughts. Ugh! Ill probably need an admission into one of the menta hospitals by the end of the year if my mind grows a mouth of its own.

I am sure he sensed me staring or something because he looked up at my window and caught me staring my arse off, you know just like a deer caught in headlights and whatever.

He smirked and threw me a wink and headed inside. I just blushed crimson and hurriedly shut the window and went back to bed, I decided on reading some fan fiction.

My phone vibrated on my bedside table. I unlocked my phone to see who would message me at this hour... but of course who else could it be?

Nah you were sweating like a pig and you probably stink so there is nothing sexy about that. Actually. Y'know what? It's a complete turnoff ;D

Apparently I was lying. But he didn't need to know that it was in fact a turn on. I didn't want to boost his ego to Jupiter and back. That would be like falling in the hole I dug for someone else.

Stop lying baby. You know you want to feel these six packs. *inserts a wink emoji*

I unlocked the window and saw Gab standing there shirtless. He did not have fully visible six packs but his abs were still defined and definitely drool worthy. He saw me staring at him and smirked

"What do you have to say now?"

"Whatever. Go put on some clothes. I wouldn't want a half-naked guy roaming around my room, now would I? "

He pouted but put on a lose tee-shirt anyways and sat down at his window sill.

"Do you think we should tell Ellie and Cameron about our date tomorrow?"

"Um I don't know. Maybe we should just wait till after our date because it will be awkward." I suggested hoping he thinks the same.

"Yeah I think so too." He agreed.

"mhm"

"where are we going?" I was curious

"curious much aren't we?" he smirked

"yeah. Whatever. Just tell me already" I sighed in defeat.

"nah" was his reply before he got off the window sill and pulled the window shut.

Damn this guy! His frustrating yet cute, especially when he pouts. Its so adorable. His dimples are on full display when he does that.

Suddenly my phone vibrated and I sighed and checked it.

Of course it was him. Again.

'don't wear something so fancy and make sure you keep warm and comfy. Don't want you falling sick now...do we? :> '

G.

Okayyyy?? I thought to myself.

I switched off my phone and headed straight to my awaiting bed.and soon sleep engulfed me and took control.

Sorry for the late update.

I was caught up in some scool stuff! Anyways guys How was this chapter???. I find it adorable. And no the stories not over. Its yet just the start. I yet have a looonnnggg wwwayy ahead. If your thinking that its so cliché. Wait till you read more chapters because trust me. This isn't even the beginning. As said before! There are lots of twists and turns... ups and downs... so hold on tight cause we're ready to flight on this journey. Don't forget choclates and drinks and a box of cleanex.
