Capturing the Count

Kenobis POV

I could see images moving as I slowly woke up light sabers ignited I moaned and rose to my knees that reluctantly held my weight. Anakin and Ahsoka stood over me in their ready stances as Dooku front flipped over the banister that he was standing on. Droids surrounded us but in about five seconds Anakin and Ahsoka had all of them cut to obliteration. I regained my balance and strength as I came to my feet and ignightef my light saber. Anakin briefly glanced back at me. I nodded.

"Ah Kenobi, glad to see you ready for a fight. I was desperately yearning for a challange"

Anakin scoffed

"Count you are in luck we are all the challenge you can handle... I take that back we are probably more."

"Enough!"

The count bursted. Swinging the lightsaber around. Anakin blocked it and Ahsoka quickly ran around to the other side blocking another attack from the Count as Anakin attacked. I crept out from behind Anakin Carefully and attacked the Count from the side. Frustrated Dooku used force lightning to take out Ahsoka as two droids entered the room Abtucting her and holding her dispute how she struggled. The Count zapped her once more still holding me and Anakin off. She went limp and unresponsive Anakin screamed at the top of his lungs

"Ahsoka no!"

Furiously attacking the count again and again. I yelled to him.

"Anakin what are you doing. Do not attack out of anger. It is not the jedi way!"

Seeing that I was distracted Dooku took an opportunity and force shoved me into the wall collapsing the balcany on top of me. Everything went dark.
Anakins POV

With Ahsoka unconscious and Obi-wan under a pile of bricks I was forced to attack Dooku by myself. My mind was festering with rage. I used the moment Dooku took to recover from Pushing Kenobi into the wall to cut his hands off. Shocked he fell to his knees. Fear in His eyes but a smirk on his face he whispered to me.

"Do it!"

I calmed myself and took a breath letting my lightsaber lower and extinguish. I pulled a pair of handcuffs off my belt and took him under custody. Just then rex and the boys burst in I was relived to see them as they blasted the ninja droids to bits and took to attending to Ahsoka. I turned to Obi-wan lifting the panels off him one by one. After ideas done I checked his pulse. It was there. Strong and resiliant. I picked him up by the shoulder and waved to twotricks to help me Rex and commander Cody had already taken Ahsoka. And fives and Pox had Dooku by the arms as they and four other troopers escorted Dooku put of the room Tup took my side of Obi-wan from me and I went to go set the ships self destruct for 10 minutes. I arrived on the medical frigate and directed Cody to jet the engines. As we did I watched the ship burst with flames. I sighed a relief and went to check on Ahsoka. I nearly hurled to see her on a med bed with an oxegyn mask on and hooked up to monitors. I stood by her side my hand on her arm my head down.

"Rex vital report!"

"Sir, she has 2 broken ribs, a full on concussion, part her upper left forearm is fractured, she also has severe burns to her chest and abdomen area. We have treated them the best we know how sir! We need a proper medical facility to treat her efecctively! We are doing or best to keep her stable sir."

He stated. Hoping not to show the fear or sadness in his voice. I clenched my hand in anger.

"Leave us!"

I demanded.

"Yes sir!"

He left closing the door behind him. I felt useless, helpless, alone. I loved Ahsoka more than I was willing to admit but I knew she loved me too. And now she was... I couldn't think about it. I brushed some dust off her face and kissed her lightly on the cheek.

"Ahsoka...please wake up. I know you can and you will. I will be right back."

I went to go make sure obi wan was ok. When I got there he was awake but also on a hospital bed with a clone wrapping and splitting his leg.

"Don't worry about me Anakin I'm fine."

He stated sarcasticly.

"Which is why I checked on you after I attended to Ahsoka, Master"

"How is she?"

"In critical condition. I don't know if they will be able to save her."

Tears welled up in my eyes.

"I understand you care for her but don't let attachment cloud your judgement Anakin. Ahsoka will be fine I'm sure."

I nodded

"Now I need some rest and a pain killer. And I should be fine tomorrow. You go spend time with ahsoka and rest as well."

"Yes master"

I retired to Ahsokas room and scanned her info chart it didn't look good but Ahsoka had been through worse I think. I sat in the chair beside her bed and held her hand. The door at the end of the room opened. Rex and Pox stood there.

"Rex! What can I do for you?"

"You seem like your in a better mood general! Pox here pointed out that we haven't yet gotten a full assessment of your current health. He wanted to do a quick look over to make sure your not injured."

"Rex, I'm fine I need to stay with Ahsoka"

"Sir while I respect that, you need to go with pox"

I gritted my teeth.

"Fine! But if theres any change in Ahsokas condition I am to be among the first to know about it."

"Of course general! She is in good hands"

I allowed my self to be escorted out of the room glancing back to see Rex Tap the buttons on the hollow screen to check on Ahsokas condition. I was escorted into a different room and was given a full check over. I couldn't stop thinking about Ahsoka though. How could I let my own padawan distract me?
