I woke up. It was 5:00 AM. An hour before work started. Perfect. Last night I had thought for a long time, and I finally decided. I was done.

Wow, so the great Jonathan Woods falls. Finally, huh? It's about time!

As I walked down the hallway, I ran into Noah. "Oh, hey!" he smiled. "What are you doing up early? You're usually almost late!" he laughed.

I ignored him. I felt horrible for doing this. He was never going to be seen again, and it would be my fault. But it had to be. Oh wow, just go ignore him.

I walked past Aria, and she scoffed.

I ignored her. She had gotten crueler. I wouldn't regret it if she died because of me.

I then rushed by Joseph and Eden. They each tried to start a conversation, but I breezed past them. Just as I was going to enter my work room, Jaden put his hand on my shoulder. "Hey."

I looked at him, who had a seductive smile on his face. "What?"

"Oh, nothing," he hummed, leaning in. "It's just that..." he paused, moving his hand towards my groin. "You seem pretty upset."

I looked away as he placed his hand on my crotch. "Yes. I am."

He smirked. "How come?" he continued, starting to stroke.

I grimaced, and didn't say anything. Jaden moved in even closer, and his hand slid under my boxers. I could feel my hips bucking forward, wanting what he was doing.

Jaden leaned in close, and whispered in my ear, "Do you want this?" He started sucking on my neck, and then he kissed me. I moaned. His tongue entered my mouth, forcing itself inside.

Doesn't that feel good? Hmm? He wants you, doesn't he?

Hah, I'm kidding. I can't believe that he can even bear to touch you.

My breath hitched as he pressed his erection against my lower abdomen. I knew I had to say something, or else he was going to take advantage of me in my most vulnerable state.

I finally came to my senses, and tried to back away.

"I think I need to stop," I mumbled.

It's useless. Just give in. He wants to give you attention. Don't you want attention as well? That's what this stupid 'I want to die' thing is all about, right? This time, I didn't listen to the voice. I needed to get this done, and fast.

He pulled away. "Oh," he smiled, and then dropped his hands. "Okay."

I exhaled shakily. He seemed disappointed. But I ignored that. I walked away in shame, and stepped into my dull, monochrome lab. I then put my plan into action. I grabbed out the dynamite, and took out a match, when Finley burst through the door.

I jumped up and yelped.

"What the hell, Finley?!"

"Geez, why are you freakin' out?? I only destroyed a door, it's nothin'."

I rolled my eyes. "Are you serious? You just broke another door! You're not normal."

"No, no I'm not. You should know that. Also, call me Fing," he said, rolling his eyes. "Anywho, where's that xuber glass you were talking about? Syux Corp needs it for their goofy tower," he said.

"Oh, yeah, It's in the back," I said.

"The back? You put it in your extra office?" he laughed. "It must not be very important to you. That stuff's expensive, you know."

"Yeah, whatever..."

"Oh, okay," Finley then walked to the back room. "Hey, why is a chunk missing?"

"It's a surprise."

"I thought you hated surprises-"

Then a voice came in over the PA. "Finley Woods, please report to the main office. I repeat, Finley Woods, please report to the main office."

"Oh? Boss calls me! Bye! Stay strong, Jonathan!" Finley walked off, muttering to himself. "I gave a note to Boss, to call me Fing. Geez, what's wrong with him?"

I smiled. Good thing for him. My plan was put into action. He needed to be safe before I would execute my plan. If I were to... finish myself off, he needed to be safe. I don't know how Al will make it out, but... I hope she can make it.

Wow, so you just got your brother, the one that cared about you, fired. Amazing.

What made you do this just now? You should have done this ages ago.

After Joshua... Jaden... Boss...

I just couldn't. I couldn't go on anymore.

Oh, so now THEY caused this? I thought YOU were the failure!

I scrawled down a message on a piece of paper and put it in my pocket.

I then grabbed the match I had from before, and it flickered on, its orange flame reflecting in my eyes. The light made me feel hope for the first time. This was the key to my salvation. It was going to be over. My mind raced as I sat there, and I thought of all the things I had accomplished. And all of the people I had helped. All of the memories I made. But most importantly, all the people I cared about. The ones who were gone. The ones that were lost forever. Everyone I ever loved. Everyone I'd ever hurt. I wouldn't let anyone else die because of me.

"...I-I'm sorry," I laughed.

"I guess I was a failure after all."

Hah, so you finally agree with me. Thank goodness. I thought you were gonna have hope for a second.
